This time big brakes! It would seam Mondello track days have them cooked in 3 laps, so currently make up a 350mm brake kit using an Evo 6 Brembo dont think the calipers turned out too bad after the recon.

That looks full of win. How did you block the IAC? Is it difficult to do? Gem told me before that the one on the Cefiro is faulty, was gonna replace it but if I can just block it off I will.
Oh me, Oh my! This is looking so good!
Just noticed your reg isn't too far that of my own R32! Same year, Same county, just about 60 or so cars reg'd between them haha

Lol I plumbed it correctly worked perfectly.. Although after the head gasket got done it seams to have stopped working.. Kinked the pipe before the throttle body and seams to work perfect with blocking that pipe... Although I'll be removing it all again shortly.
Finally all back together.. Delight with the gauges and how they turned out.

Cheers man....
when did ur one land in Ireland? Don't think I've seen it.?
It was first reg'd in July 2005, It has spent most of the last 9 years here hidden in garages. It was a weekend car for the first owner and the person I bought it off said it had spent the previous few years in a shed, add to that me having owned it a year and a half and it still not having touched the road as I was working on it, I would be surprised if you had seen it haha.
It is up for it's NCT on Saturday though so all going well it will finally get driven again.
Here it is a couple months ago. I'll be sorting out better pictures once the car is out of NCT mode

Sorry dude not yet anyway! lots more to do with it!
Beautiful 32 man. Always admired it and funny seeing we ended up with a very similar set-up. Where did you get the CAS cover and bracket with the degrees etched into it?
Cheers dude....
The CAS sensor is a little gem that my bro did for me... its not a cover, its a Nissan OEM item thats been CNC machined/engraved and ananidze that colour.

Does your bro use a CNC at his workplace or have a home setup? Planning on converting my own milling machine to CNC down the road.

He used to work in the eng department of Manchester uni so safe to say he knows his way about a CNC machine.
Awh I'd love to have a milling machine , have a lathe but think ya need both for best of both words, or just a seven axis milling machine LOL
DELIGHTED to finally have the front discs, the phrase "brakes like dinner plates" comes to mind:

No bother to him so then. Yeah I have been trying to get one for years and then ended up getting a small one for free as the guy had moved to Australia. I definitely agree with you on needing both, So many things that you just need a lathe for. Haha not too many of those laying about un used
JUST about fit under the 17in wheel

Serious car man haha looks like pain in the arse to turn on ur lights with the cage but this is the struggle we go through for a savage lookin car haha
Well to say i had to WAIT for these brackets to be made was a little bit of an understatement but we got there and they arrived.

It was a tight squeeze...! and it was the first-time I had to be careful not to mash the wheel into the caliper! So with the brake all bleed its ready to roll out of the shed but do want to wait to finish on the rears with some new brake hoses..
Also on the hunt for a painter have a bit of body work that needs attention.... anyone up for a bit of work?
Check out grange's and cooks86 cars Chris. Just after be painted by flip and definitely look well.
I know! I was looking at his work looks to be top class.......
Where is he based?
Waterford as far as I know. Flipsideauto I think is his name on Facebook Chris.

Where abouts did you pick up the calliper adapters? What callipers are they off of?
Had to get them made up might be able to get more...
It's a Evo 7 caliper (think 6-8 are all the same) and 350mm disc
Welll its been a LONG LONG time coming but its back and ready for road ( nearly )

So a few suspension bits to double check and grease up the rose-joints and we will be good for the road..
Stunning car, top notch stuff
That's definitely one of the nicest 32s .. What power is it ?
Well hurry and get the finger out Chris.
That's definitely one of the nicest 32s .. What power is it ?
Awh cheers..... Power wise, it was dyno'd at 345, then it was noticed it was leaking water into cylinder number 5! fixed it and power it defo up again... id say 350+ but boost is at 1 bar and bigger injectors still to go in so fingers crossed we might get close to 400

Man that's class!!! Always loved them in that colour!
Really love this! The brake upgrade is top notch!
You have to tell me how you did the lights so I can do the same with mine..
Was it hard to get that inlet plenum fitted looking at buying one but wondering will the battery be in the way will the vac lines match up and will the standard throttle body fit thanks
Cheers guys!
Inlet is good job, Makes an amazing sound with throttle wide open! If you are at Mondello on Sunday come and have a look if you wanted to see how it works!
Fair play lad ill prob be up sunday ill keep an eye out shouldnt be hard to miss
Need to keep this up to date. ;)
So had good crack at Auto-Heros but before the event i had engine trouble.. that seamed to vanish the week before hand.. So taut might as well enjoy the track ! great day never missed a beat all day didnt push it to hard as i needed to drive home.
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i223/106s2rallye/C6A1A44C-7399-4D52-B643-0F707F0A89F6_zpsjys8hiks.jpg (http://s73.photobucket.com/user/106s2rallye/media/C6A1A44C-7399-4D52-B643-0F707F0A89F6_zpsjys8hiks.jpg.html)
So driving to work the next Thursday engine developed a miss.. pulled in and running on 5 cylinders.... So turned home and put it in the shed where i discovered a new more worrying scrappy noise coming from the bottom..
http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i223/106s2rallye/2C8639AB-9C50-4EC6-942E-5A332DFBFD8D_zpsomwvqtax.jpg (http://s73.photobucket.com/user/106s2rallye/media/2C8639AB-9C50-4EC6-942E-5A332DFBFD8D_zpsomwvqtax.jpg.html)
So looks like it will be off the road AGAIN and worse i only taxed it....!
To be fare it needed to come out as lovely Dr Nick mapped it so rich when it was only build it washed all the bores so piston blow by was crazy when leak down test was done.... So new plan START from strach again!
Sick for ya dude! What's plan now?
Thats tough dude, if you dont mind me asking, who mapped itso I know not to go there :-/
Awh sure shit happens just annoying is all.... So have to clean the shed and get engine out! Plan is full rebuild open up engine and see whats fucked and whats OK ....
It was CultureAuto but sure nothing i can do, and there gone!
Shit luck man, especially after taxing her, such a cool looking car, prob my favorite R32 on this site.
best buy that lovely black gtr thats local chris lol
hahahah you take a broken 32 as a trade in lol
