So I was talking to Simon since September/October about this but I finally got to see it in mid December because he works abroad. I was lucky to buy from Simon cos he was honest and genuine about everything. And I also was there for the first drive of the auto to manual test drive that Jay and the lads in DI Motorsport did.

Got the compression figures and the champagne test so all was good with the end.

Took deliver in the first week of January.

First job was a vacuum

I then gave the body a serious polish with my DA just to make it shiny.
Going from this

Simon told me to cop the fuck on and stop being anal about the car. I normally am very particular about paint jobs on cars but this doesn't need to be.....it's just a cool car!

Then I got come BC's and tossed them on

Fresh pads and I hit Mondello

That's my old exhaust off my civic hahaha

Three laps in and the front lip blew off. My fibre glass job didn't obviously work

But what a day!!! This car is far more fun then my civic track car I broke in September. Might not be as fast but more smiles per gallon :afro:

The rear pads didn't last long so I had to change them. When to bed them in but since that drive its been running like a bag of nails. Have a feeling it's a blow gasket at the manifold. Haven't had time to sort it with college....

However.....
I got two pairs of R33 GTR rims and fresh tyres

And also...

I have been messing with an S14a lip I got sent up by DannyC in Cork

Take a solider iron with blade attatchment

The centre fits perfect once cut in three but the outer parts are too big

So 8cms out of the vents

Next is to get that car running right and lower the front a wee bit more......college is busy with final 4 weeks so it's slow progress

Pull up to the scene with your ceiling missing!

This has the potential to be real cool. You're heading in the right direction with the R33 GTR's.
