View Full Version : Help Needed: Polycarbonate Windows
Having trouble sorting the poly windows on the 350z as there is a 6 week wait in the UK and Group 4 in Galway can't make them up as they are curved. Anybody know anyone who can make them other than Group 4? Bit of a panic on now! Cheers lads

Read it wrong thought u were looking for it :).
Would ya not buy a sheet and mke them urself
think he's looking for the pre made kits
maybe your looking ones with black surrounds etc but if not would you not have a crack at making your own? (pun intended)
a mate bought a 8x4 sheet and did his own, s14a, back window in it was curved and worked out well for him. used 3mm
It doesn't matter if its a kit or somebody makes them, I won't chance them myself as ill make a shit of them lol

contact des moore http://www.dmrr.net/rally.htm
since there is some 350z rally cars around the world you might be in a strike of luck and buy ready made ones from him maybe. if not buy a sheet and have a room heater near you and keep slight weight on it to bend it
None of the windows in a 350are curved so be very easy to make them. but the quater windows are tiny so id go for the propper fitting glass ones there and in the doors so you can open them and at that rate why bother with the boot door one.
DI Motorsport are ordering this for my car this week get in touch with jay, he should be able to put you in the right direction
Cheers lads, bootlid and doors are fibreglass so the glass is too heavy now so I reckon I may chance making them up, where to buy the sheets and how much would be my next question :-)

you may buy a heat gun aswell dave ;) dont hold it too close to the perspex & just takes time to get them hot to flex.... thats if you gotta bend them at all ;)
I'm assuming when you say uk you mean plastics4performance if not there your guys

Dave just buy the sheet from grp4. That's where I got mine from, arrived at my door in 2 days, they have option for different thickness/grades and tint's etc and premade slider kits to install also....its all on their website.
