I want to get the car sitting a bit lower, the Teins I have are wound douwn all the way, but I was thinking of removing one of the locking collars and the helper spring at the top!

1. Is this really dodgy/ dangerous in any way.

2. Is it even worth my while, for at most an inch?

Anyone done this or if there are any other options!!!

Yeah I've heard of gang doing it but just want to know before I go tareing the car apart. Don't want to turn it into a trap of a car either as its pretty comfy to drive at the minute!!

Cheers Stevo , will be nicer once its a bit lower and the advans tidied up

1. The helper springs go on the bottom and tein RA are known for not being able to go low most burst wen there put on the lowest thread And leave both collars on at the bottom, but the one that guides the helper can come out if your taking the helper spring out.
HSD or BC coilovers are good for a low setting you can adjust the height without messing with the spring.

2. It's not worth an inch, I'd say the car is nice to drive at that height if you go lower the kit will get damaged and make the car to stiff to drive, the suspension will have minimal travel and won't work.

Hmmm!!!??? Sounds like it could be a pain in the hole so, and not realy in the mood for busting coilovers !!

Pity, just think the car would look that bit cooler 😜

Remove the helper spring for sure!!

Just maybe leave the two locking collars on.

It needs the inch!!!!
