nothing from turn of key

was workin on the car there,ignition on 1st turn for the radio!!

went to start the car after bout 20mins,started up ran for 3seconds and everythin jut cut out,no dash no nothing,no radio on first turn,not a ting off the key

lights will turn on,full lights will show up on the dash wen there on

no fuel pump,basically like as if i disconnected the battery,all ignition fuses are ok

oh ya tested the battery and its at %80

dunno if its related, ive been having battery probs with years on my s15 .

gonna put a dry dry cell one in there next week to see how it goes . like it hasnt the power to start it with all the extra bits drawing on it or something.

batt prob ran low with the radio on so when you started it there was probly too much load on the alternator, check the main fuse box under the bonnet beside the battery and check the alternator/starter or main fuse link could be a 60 or 80amp...what car is it on

Know its simple but did you check the connections? What wer you doin to the car at the time too?

Sorted it straight after I put this thread up,typical! The plug goin into the ignition switch was loose,also sorted my turbo timer countin down every now and then by itself
