Over the winter I've come up with a brand new layout
For this year in eglinton
here's a video taken with the phone a more detailed video
Will be produced after the upcoming practice day

N1 Drift new track - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKsgrj8eD5Y&sns=em)

The layout is

http://i1267.photobucket.com/albums/jj541/continney/37709E3C-51EE-43B5-9702-4062D69325D7-2084-00000220944B2279.jpg
The black line is the start line
White is the finish line
Yellow is the track layout
Blue is the spectator viewing areas
Red are possible clipping points to be finalised
Pits will be in the usual area

This year all cars wishing to enter the drift series will be
Required to have a minimum of a half cage welded in or an
Fia approved bolt in cage
An clean scratch free visor on their helmet
Or an open faced helmet
A fixed bucket seat fitted securely
Harnesses 3 inch+ and 4 point +
Strictly no fluid leaks
These rules are very basic and will be reviewed
On a regular basis but will be strictly enforced

Drivers will receive their car number based on their finishing
Position in last years series and will retain this number
Throughout the year
As usual any queries or question you can contact me
On 0877718031 or through our Facebook page
NI drift series
Entry fees have now been standardised on both tracks
Used by n1 drift series which is £50 stg

Looking forward to seeing everyone out again will be posting
Our first event shortly thanks

For the Drift Practice at Aghadowey the only change
will be that Cars with No Cages, Harness ect will be
in a seperate group from the Cars with Cages ect.
These 2 Groups will run in alternative 15 min sessions up
to Competition time with only Caged ect cars being allowed in the Competition

When the Competition is over where we usually had open pit
it will resume to the alternate Groups until the end of the day

Any further Questions Please ask or contact Con or Myself

Is this the same for Eglinton then? Or are cars without a cage doing a different layout?

m3con
24-01-13, 21:32
No there will only be one layout at Eglinton and will
Only be used by the cars that meet the safety regs
As there are other novice drift events held at this venue
For road cars

thought i would explain what you get for that;

main hoop, rear legs, one diagonal. all one piece

i can add bars as requested, such as another diagonal to create a rear x, or harness bar etc etc. this will incur an added cost.

all sized to uk and ireland drift regulations so if you ever go down the route of full competition the half cage can be adapted instead of going for a whole new cage.

completed one in an m3 road car at the weekend which comprised of half cage with rear x which is completely removable to enable passengers in the rear, and rear strut bar.
