As above, the car is in for the nct wednesday and i'm wondering if anyone knows if it will pass with a hydro handbrake fitted.
It has a workin cable brake aswell....

Yea my last 2 nissans passed with a hydro, once the original handbrake is still working!

Original handbrake is not needed once the hydro is lockable
hydro will pass as long as it has a button i think

My ae86 was fine because the original handbrake works and wasnt in the way.
A hand brake is a handbrake regardless of whether its hydraulic or cable.. Just as long as it locks your grand

Im pretty sure lads you'll need the standard handbrake too, the idea is if your brakes fail you still have a mechanical cable to stop the car. My car passed with the hydro and standard handbrake in, best to have the standard one for your own safety too anyways

Yeah it should be grand, it has the standard cable brake aswell...
