Well lads havin some small bother with the 180, when drivin it feels somewhat held back and restricted till after bout 3k rpm in 2nd, also when left idling for a min it goes in to limp mode even at full throttle it will only rev between 1500-2000rpm .. We thought it was a Afm issue but tried another one on it tonight and still the same . Checked all coilpacks too and when I unplug them it drops a cylinder as it should , anyone any other ideas ??? The previous owner by passes boot solenoid etc would that have an affect ??

Cheers

i think you need to get her remapped for the t28 turbo. it used to pull hard from around 2k rpm all thru the rev range before with the t25.. i'm no expert at all but surely the fuelling can't be right until 4k rpm now that there is no boost till then with the t28 and the ecu is making changes for it?

It drives ok Steve, just like ya said its left idling for a few mind it's starts doing that ya no, illl let it warm up and unplug lamda as dan suggested and see if that's the cause ..

I could be wrong here but as far as i know the t25 spools up quicker than the t28 too lad.

Try changing the ignitor chip, and maybe fuel pump

Ive an Ignitor, coilpacks, coilpack loom and lambda there if you want to try them?

Surely you noticed this before you coughed up for the car????
