Well I picked this up few months ago always wanted one so had to buy it

So first thing first gave the engine a good clean before assembly

Got it compression tested put it wasn't turning over fast enough to get a proper reading so we suspected bad starter motor. So I took it out got it tested but all was good but the starter was already apart so it got all new bearings.Turned out it was just a bad earth

Was going slow being in work nearly 7 days a week and waiting on new gaskets from Japan
Fitted the ecu

The single exhaust that was on the car I took off and picked up this re amemiya twin exhaust I cleaned it up a bit with some paint

After a clean

So went to bleed the clutch but the slave cylinder was banjoed so order a new master cylinder and slave cylinder

Started with 240 wet and dry and went up the grades to 1200 this is how they look now

I ordered the centre caps off Japanese performance they don't fit after 8 weeks wait for them :mad: I was on to Dave and he has ordered a new set

Pretty sure I have some video footage from years and years ago from a journey up north for some drag racing. Rough video and probably not much of it, but I'll see if I can dig any of it up for ya

Very little man first week back in work since Christmas so bit stuck for cash at the min. But I got an insurance quote fully comp €599 classic insurance and I am filling in my forms to change my tax to 1.3 :))

That's it really had a set back yesterday was trying to straighten one of the prongs on the AIT sensor and it just snapped of so I have to get a new one :mad:

I think they are to man you they are hard to come by now. I dunno about the wheels but I think the eurolines suit the fc's like mike fitz FC

I was never mad on the eurolines meself but they just grew on me for the fc. Only bits I have is a cat back exhaust including decat

They have a 5 and a half dish and that is a 285 tire on it haha

Awesome man, only seeing this now! Used to own this car and have to say I loved it. Glad to see you're giving it the attention it deserves, as at the time I had no real money to actually spend on it or make it look how I wanted. Would love a FC again in the future though!

Cheers man it's bein slow getting it to where it is now but nearly there. Ye I was talking to Dave when I bought the diffuser off him he was telling me that you used to own it Alrite can't wait till its on the road now and I got my classic insurance this week €599 fully comp :cool:

I thought €599 was cheap who are with? They are 18x13 et-10 they are huge I got them off raff on this

I tryied axa but they wouldn't insure me cause I'm under 25. I think I will need overfenders aswell I was on rhd Japan looking at them but its more expensive to ship them then to buy them

One cover poped off and got stuck about 10ft up a tree other was fine.. Rory ended up with the remainder of the car so try him.. They were electric mirrors too he was fixing them up to sell on but that was 2years ago

I got the diffuser off Dave Egan but I don't no if I'm going to use it or not. Got the wheels on today for a mock up see what overfenders I would need.

your going to have to make overfenders for the rear i would say,
Those rear tyres are fucking insane wide too though get some mega stretch going and it wont look as scary wide.. To be fare a similar arch that was on mine should fit yours the spres would give the same offset

there the over fenders im using havent trial fitted them yet, my wheels would be a little smaller than yours at 18x11 -22 but if i were you id consider a smaller tyre and get some stretch for sure.

should be cool if ya get her done,abd defo dont go for a smaller tire when inflated they dont even meet the edge of the rim, like i said go for a 305 or 315 next time,the 285 was atoo much of a stretch,, or thinking about it maybe its the sidewall is too low?

I thought I finally had every thing sorted with the new water pump and thermostat I done a Champagne test and it failed :smt013 so I'm back to square one so I started stripping the engine back down :cry:

It was €130 all in man. Ah it's not to bad at least it's just the water seals pulled the engine out yesterday

My body work turned out better then I thought I have done more work to sharpen up the line. I cut the 50mm fender stretched them out to 70mm fibre glased them glass fibre then isopon

I fitted the tires to the wheels meself using lynx and lighting it to pop the tires on :cool:

So now I have to order injectors (id2000) and a standalone ecu haltech or microtech not sure yet

There 285 the wheel is 14 inches wide :D

Didn't think I would be able to but just had a try :p I cut out a few inches off the original arch forgot to add that in to the thread I primed the raw edge where I cut it then under sealed both wheel wells

Small update finally got all the hoses for the fmic
Decided to go with a dmax bonnet vent I would of liked it lower down towards the headlights but couldn't because the factory bonnet vent

Plumbed up the swirl pot fuel filter and fuel pump on some checkered plate, so I'm getting an auto electrician to wire up the fuel pump and two electric fans and that should be it I'm gonna check over every thing again be for I try to start her up
