many goin dis year? any idea on prices planes boats etc not 100% sure wat way wer goin yet prob by boat wit cars

here is the route i be taking if i had driver and passanger van and trailer with car

ROSSLARE - FISHGUARD 220 EURO DEP at 9am arrive fisguard at 12.30

ARRIVE fishguard at 12.30

FISHGUARD - HARWICH drive 6h 30 min to harwich from fishguard costing about 100 diesel roughly

HARWICH - ROTTERDAM catch the ferry at 23.15 to rotterdam and get in port for 07.45 with a cost of 150 euro

ROTTERDAM - KIEL drive 6h 15 min to kiel at a rough cost of 100 for diesel

KIEL - GOTEBURG catch the ferry to goteburg at 18.45 in kiel and exit goteburg at 09.15 costing 185 euro

GOTEBURG - GATEBILL drive 3 hours from goteburg to gatebill costing around 50 for diesel roughly

thats roughly what it would cost you and i based it on starting out on 3rd july at 9am at rosslare ferry and arriving two days later 0n 5th at 12.30 in the day

thats only single so maybe same for way back or cheaper if u get yout times better lol and book a return journey

all this includes 2 passangers a van, transporter and a car on transporter
all prices are rough estimates

hope this helps

If your goin as a spectator car rental is dirt cheap on the continent...

I haven't looked into it myself at all but if I was, I would look at flying to Gotehenburg or Stockholm and renting a car...

Or even fly to Copenhagen (if it cheaper) an you can hop a train to Malmo and rent a car there...

its worth looking into anyway..

So your looking at roughly €900-€1000 for 3ppl in a van with a car and transporter? Also lads what the crack with actually drifting on the track is there a licence day or anything like that or is it just arrive and drive? Any ideas on a how much it is to attend the event as a spectator like a weekend pass at the gate or prices on driving for the weekend?

Its supposed to be on around the 12-14 July mark i think.

And from what iv heard, drivers have to go through a light scrutiny to make sure cars are safe enough on track and get an approval sticker or something.

Then drivers have to attend some trackday briefing

And once all past, you pay something like €60/70 each day to drift as long as you want. (must bring your own tyres and pay for your own fuel obviously)

If your bringing a van stock it to the tits with drink and food cas its ridiculously expensive. SO is getting into the event itself. Serious serious craic doe.
