My new Tail Happy Car/Truck!!!!

After having this for the Last month or so, I've been battling to the deaths a load of tree sap and general crap that stood in my way as regards getting it cleaned up!

When I got it first, yes you've guessed it, was filthy. Now washed up it was grand, but not clean clean, which some of you may know, I like to get whatever cars I get spotless!

So I went and started out by running a bit of petrol on a mutton cloth to get alot of the Tar away. With this and rubbing it on the car, it was just killing me to feel how rough it was. so next up was the clay bar. I've gone through 2 1/2 bars of it so far trying my hardest to get rid of whatever I can from the paint.


I am still only 3/4 of the way through it yet, havn't done the Right hand side yet (Getting there, its big)!!

Then I went at the front end with Scratch X and the Drivers door(LHS) and these seemed to be coming up well! (I have only done front 2 wings, bonnet and LH Door with the polish and Wax)

So after the Scratch X I tried the Polish and Wax to see how it was going to come up as I was really anxious to get it looking Minty Fresh!!!

Sooo all in all, its getting there. the Left side and back door has been clayed but I need a new clay bar to get it right the way I want it. But I have been asked a number of times by people to get some pics up.

So here you go with it still not finished, I just want to add that in!!!!!!

It's a Ford F-150 SVT Lightning, American Pick up!

V8
Supercharged.

That really just sums it up in those 3 lines!!

This machine is awsome, I know I've only had a few cars but have driven plenty and this is something unique and completely different. The sound off the V8 alone makes you tingle!!

I hope to have it all cleaned up pretty soon and get some proper pics of it gleaming.

So I'll let the pictures say the rest!!

tax would be a biatch, probably not too bad on juice for what it is - with the amount of torque in it you can probably cruise the motorways at 1200rpm :cool:

Tax is only 270 or 280 a year. Commercial!!! Whoop Whoop!

Petrol wise, it's a guzzler, still havnt calculated how much it does, need to fill it up but need the money to do that first!!!

yup yup 7-up!!!!!

Needs new front tyres at the minute now though so havnt been out in it for the last 2 weeks unfortunately!!! Hopefully they should be in tomorrow but the drive to the place would be fun!!!
