i changed the coolant on the five series (e34), and shes coming up to temperature and all grand, but ive got no heat from the vents on the drivers side. so i assume theres two heater matrices and one is airlocked. i went and loosened the jubelee clips on the heater pipeswhere the little controll valve things are to bleed it out. a fair bit of air came out then just water, so i would have thought that sorted it, but no, ive no heating atall now, either passenger of driver. anyone know where i go from here? do i let it cool and the manually fill the matricies with water or what? any help apreciated. cheers

pump water in one side until it flies out the other and same with the main hoses. If its not heating then after say a ahlf hour of bleeding then I'd reckon you've got yourself a kettle.

My e34 is a kettle :(
