so after much abuse from the nissans i have tried my hand at BMW,

it came handy money so why not,

she on NI plates 94 m3 3.0

dont have pics from day i got it have it little over month now so this is wat i have done,
car was standard
stripped it,
fitted coilovers,
seat
hydro
blanked off sunroof
fitted bonnet pins
boot clips
heres few pics so far. . . .

tinted lights and painted up the grill. .

so its about time i got back onto this.

i dont know what the feck the first photo is :/

so anyway i bought a 4:1 out of E28 for tomasS13 on here,

so took out my diff and to switch the e28 internals in

stripped the m3 casing and gave it a good clean

off the collect seal and then put it back together

ok so gave the casing a bit of paint to tidy it up

Sound job ya can't beat a good m3.
Was there much work to fitting the 4.1 diff

Must keep an eye out for a diff now have a 323 iam using there while I do the e30 it would prob give it the extra bit it needs

so I got new amber corners from Latvia fairly cheap as I couldn't find second hand pair

ok so got the car home coukdnt wait to fit the quick release so fitted it before I started to gut the inside in order to get cage fitted

need to drop seat back and down a little sould be perfect then

small update again , getting motivated after seen its turn out today.

getting small idea of what I have imagined

so test fit the front wheels , fairly close to coilover , ,maybe small spacer might see me out of it

finally got the hydro mounted where I wanted, didn't feel right with the small upright handle so I took some measurements and a mate offered to make one up in his lunch out at his work place.

I don't think its a bad job at all for the info I gave him :) just gotta tidy up weld when I get my mig this week, anyway some pics

finally gave in and got rear bolts for diff

so i ended up buying 12 torex bolts
6 washer shields
and 6 nuts for prop

a lovely 242.80 euro

its like im fran and they got me good with that pool cue. stupid shitty main dealers

Why on earth did u buy them from a dealer ???
U could have just used normal hardened steel bolts thats what i done after the original ones sheered off there a much handier job

Iad defo recammend getting a few hardined steel bolts to have as spares i bring a few with me on every trackday just incase they were to ever break again. Be sickiner to waist a drift day over them.

Bit more info on the diff? Is that a medium or large case diff that comes in the 3.0 and what model e28 did the internals come out of?

Medium in the 3.0s, large only came in 3.2s

its my original case with e28 internals, from 81 model welded

finally got time between work to get shit done all diff shafts prop mounted.

wishbones and hubs modified along with new rods and ends and new front links

made some hub converters for the front to take 5x114,3 wheels.

fecking wheels are catching front bumper and filler bar so im not sure what I will do

also made a start on the exhaust. im using 2.5 stainless steel , two new flexi pipes
and 8mm rod for hanging the exhaust
also made new flanges from 8 mm steel plate while I was at it

got arches for it which will do for now as i cant afford to spend a fortune on big duck lab ones
