Its a sr20det s14a and when taking off hard in first gear bout 3000rpm the car back fires done it for the first time today, Anyone through a bit of light on it?

It probley has got to do with the cold weather tbh...


possibly over fueling ?

Is she standard or modified? If she backfires she is overfuelling at that part of the rev range I reckon

I'd say your afm is causing it, could be the weather or the fact that its just staring to give up.

Its me mates car only has a front mount on it and induction kit and has it boosting at .8

its probably not mapped and overfuelling

dont think it should back fire if there the only mods tbh..

Maby check the plugs? my skyline was giving a bita trouble, but it was the plugs in the end...

Altho it could be the cold weather, but id check the plugs and the next thing is try another AFM
