View Full Version : 400bhp sr20det build parts?
Trying to plan out what internal engine parts will be need. My engine rattled a bigend an my old engine melted a tiny piece of a piston.
What do yas think i should salvage from both engines?
Just want a good safe, strong engine fit for around 400hp max for track use.
I've a Garrett gt3017r fitted with greddy top mount, ex wastegate, nismo 555s, power fc d jettro, walbro 255 ect.
set of pistons go .5 over size and use the block with the bottom end gone, use the crank and rods from the one with piston gone(check the rod with damaged piston) either head will do as long as not det'ed like the piston, new acl bearings, head gasket and oil pump as both will have had metal through them, good map and you should see near 450 with that turbo and fuck the walbro pump away and fit a gtr pump
Sound's good, is it ok to re-use the head bolts ect?
Ha, whats wrong wit the walbro?
What brand of pistons an gasket would you suggest.
Ye all the bolts are ok to reuse. walbros are pure shite have had trouble with loads of them wouldnt put one in anything id use a cosworth gasket and wossner pistons. acl race bearings.
Cheers, what thickness gasket?
