Well all! As a good few would know I had an 320i e36 bmw for about 3 years that ended up with M3 running gear, 4.1 diff, coilovers, extra lock etc by the time I was finished with it. In the end boredom took over and I decided to sell.
Build thread here http://www.driftireland.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1125

So had a tight budget and not many cars tuned up but saw sil8094 had this for sale, was down in Waterford and had a look and after a long trip as had to come back to Kildare for a transporter I got it home!

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/382783_2191807280129_1395556965_31890698_145573624 2_n.jpg

Spec was fairly basic, welded diff, rear stipped out, leaking coilovers, leaking front mount but the car itself was solid! Calling it project ebay for my love of online shopping!

First job was to replace the big end and main bearings for peace of mind. bought the bearings off Westward Engineering and wayne.c on here did the job once I had the engine out. When the engine was out I discovered the car had a 4 puck paddle clutch so that saved on one job! Also changed all turbo gaskets and removed excess vacuum valve things!

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/08042012011.jpg

Removed all sound deadening and fitted a bolt in cage after painting it light blue.

Fitted red stuff pads and hydraulic handbrake off ebay, has a locking system which comes in handy! Works perfect! http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/motoraptor2010

Swapped rear coilovers for a pair of s14 camber arms with a lad on here and also changed all my arms for adjustable arms off ebay. This is a link to the seller http://myworld.ebay.ie/1stcarparts
Brought the car to WKD for setting up. Quality seems good but when Wez was setting the car up he said they are harder to set up than the likes of the driftworks ones.

Bought oil pressure and water temperature gauges on ebay with the fitting kit, the oil sandwich plate started leaking after 2 dats out so I removed that and am thinking of a sump plug sensor fitting.

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/15072012041.jpg

Then I got the kit fixed up by some local lads, could do with replacing the kit really as its full of fillers now! Got it out for the day the fist time Tynagh was run but it was boosting very late so unless it was raining the car wasn't up to much!

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/22042012042-001.jpg

So got home and tried to figure out what was up and discovered most of the intercooler hoses and the core were leaking so replaced the hoses with auto silicone hoses ones with new clamps www.autosiliconehoses.com Very heavy duty goods and seal up perfect. Also got a straight pipe to replace the blow off valve. They are also traders on ebay!

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/04112012093.jpg

Bought an intercooler core on ebay off toyosports, http://myworld.ebay.ie/tuningpartsbay Absolutly massive core! 4inch thick and after 2 days out hasn't given any trouble. Very impressed for the money!

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/04112012092.jpg
http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/04112012098.jpg

Bought locking collars second hand on ebay for about 20euro so have them fitted now aswell.

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/14102012071.jpg

Turbo gave up on my second day out so got one off gary d on here. Decided that I was in so deep that I might aswell go shopping on driftworks and 2 days later these arrived.

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/12102012068.jpg

Rad is a great fit and didn't have to cut any of my cowling or anything for it to fit, had a half day of driving in Mondello and the temperature gauge never went abouve 90degrees with the standard viscous fan with cowling.

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/04112012097.jpg

Sytec fuel pump and regulator do what they're supposed to do, very good instructions included, and the exhaust hangers and very stiff, stop the exhaust banging around.

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/04112012091.jpg

The week before Mondello the car developed a really bad missfire and investigation pointed to 3 cracked coilpacks and a melted coilpack amp! Got on here and found Danny O'Sullivan was selling them and also a sparco gearknob, arrived very quick and cured my problem. To stop the amp melting again I bought heat shield blanket on ebay and it worked perfectly for covering anything near the exhaust side of the car. http://myworld.ebay.ie/scrollob

Decent set of coilovers when money allows
Welded 4.1 or 4.3
Maybe new kit and respray

Thanks lads. Found this in my travels http://www.ebay.ie/itm/370668179443?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Think it would do the job! No harm in trying ebay bits, just have to keep an eye on them, like with the plate leaking wasn't the end of the world!

Are the pics in this massive? I'm on a netbook so can't tell if its just the small screen? If they are massive whats the best size in photobucket for this site?

Is that your car? If I knew that I'd be stripping it! Not a bad looking motor!

Thanks for the good replies lads, I'll just give my opinion on everything I buy online and it might help someone who is on the fence about some stuff make up their minds! I've bought second hand branded stuff and was stung before so I'd rather buy new and take the chance!

Have braided turbo lines and turbo elbow back exhaust on the way so will update with them!

Fitted the exhaust last night and headed to Mondello today. Exhaust is a good fit the whole way back apart fom the mounting point on the gearbox is a bit off. All other mounting points line up.

Car went well today, no problems apart from red flags every 3 minutes fo the first hour with people going off the track! How it looked today, bit rough around the edges

Ah there was a load of people all around the edges, was open pit with about 20 cars so wasnt too bad of a day. Few lads arrived at 1, think they thought would be half day!

Nope, 16s, make life easy on standard power. And the rain made it feel like 800hp :D

Thanks Dan, didn't see you over there. Seems to be going alright anyway so happy enough with it! Everything I've bought so far seems to be decent enough, used all proper bits on the fuel and cooling but after that not much harm a cheaper part can do!

Have a few vids but shit bog internet won't let me upload :(

Long time since I updated this!

Decided that standard power or lock wasn't enough so sorted those out.

Lock wise I got modded hubs off Stevo and Tein extra lock steering arms from driftworks. Nice difference to be had on a budget.

Power wise I got a T28 turbo,
550 injectors (http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Nissan-200SX-240SX-SR20DET-Set-of-4-Plug-Play-550cc-side-feed-fuel-injectors-/151066775279?pt=Race_Car_Parts&hash=item232c480eef)
and z32 AFM.

Replaced any boost hoses that were left to be replaced with Autosiliconehoses hoses and brought the car to TDP for mapping.

Got the car back a couple of days later, with no drama, mapped on nistune to just over 300hp. Very happy with the way the car drives and had in in Mondello for a track day and Tynagh for a drift day since and it went really well.

So I was all set for driftfest masters and then the shit hit the fan, 80euro down and no competitions to do. Went to IDC Punchestown and decided that IDC was the way to go so rang ROCO the following week and got the car in for a cage, very nice job. I never thought of photos before I put it back together but cannot recommend the man enough!

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/DSC_0220_zps19ab3cda.jpg

When in Tynagh I decided that the 16s were a bit small now that I had a bit more power so I ordered up some rims :)

Problem with these is they were a bit much for standard arches with no spacer!

http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae241/blusrule/DSC_0224_zps069ea1c7.jpg

So I got onto Bart and he sorted arches and a front bumper for me, havn't got the bumper fitted yet but the car looks alot better with the 50mm arches fitted

Small update! Happy new year and all that jazz!

New year, new colour! Decided that I needed something to make the car more recognisable so picked out a completely random purple off colour charts in Doyle Autobody Bunclody. Had the car back in just over a week and am absolutely delighted with the quality of the work they did!

Also fitted a spoiler, clear and red tail lights and full headlights. Think it all ties together really well!

A long time since this was updated! Project eBay is kind of gone now, decided to get serious and buy proper parts over the last couple of months. This was kicked off by getting a job with a Le Mans series race team earlier in the summer, I decided then that I needed to up my game while watching IDC3 on the live stream!

Arrived home and straight away started buying parts, bought a Tomei arms M7960 off Stevo at Driftbitz, engine parts and maching by TDP.ie and everything else came from Frsport in the states. All in all a month worth of buying parts, stripping the car, dropping parts to TDP, Wayne at Curran Motorsports building the engine and back up to TDP for mapping and I'm left with 420hp at the flywheel and 380lbft of torque!

Current Engine/Drivetrain spec list
-Sr20det
-86.5mm Wossner Pistons
-ACL Race Bearings
-1.1mm Cosworth Head Gasket
-Brian Crower 264 Degree Camshafts, Springs and Retainers
-Nismo 740cc Injectors
-Modified Oil Pump
-IACV Removed
-Tomei Arms M7960 Turbo
-Tomei Expreme Turbo Manifold and Elbow
-Japspeed Engine and Gearbox Mounts
-Gizzmo Boost Controller
-Toyo Sports Full Exhaust
-Toyo Sports Intercooler
-Driftworks Supercool Radiator
-GK Tech Viscous Fan
-GK Tech Gearbox Bush
-Driftworks Lightweight Flywheel
-ACT 4 Paddle Clutch

Went to the Justjap.ie drift day yesterday and the car was a dream to drive! Cannot thank Wayne and Robbie enough for everything! Roll on round 5!
