well i've pretty much posted everything up to current date in my intro thread, but i'm bored and wanna start my own thread.

i have a few ideas for my hatch, no idea what direction i'll go in but i really want the version select type 2 kit, a cage and seats for now. eventually i wanna paint the car like the 626 guys "mulsaane", same place where matt powers came from. those 3 coupes are the cars that got me into 240s when i was 15. here's my current list of what's on the car already:

this is my buddy's m3, i'm painting it for him at somepoint this fall apparently... lol we'll see, but i should hopefully be rocking these wheels with 25mm adapters/spacers for a different look for my hatch. i'll have my car dumped so hopefully i'll be tucking some wheel out back :D

thanks guys! i'm actually getting the car ready now for today's event, it's raining out right now but it's supposed to clear up for most of the afternoon. i'm also bringing my go pro so i should have a few decent clips hopefully. and @d-turbo-lad i really want type x all around but i think i'm gonna end up with one of the version select kits next winter. for this year my goals are wheels, a bolt in cage and some brides and just get some drifting done before i (hopefully) am in ireland for spring 2013 :D

i was at east coast bash this year, just spectating though. i wanna drift it next summer and i def wanna make freedom moves too if i can.

i'm waiting for a vid to finish processing on vimeo and i'll make a good post. i have a few more videos that i wanna get up and i should hopefully have a few additional pics from one of the photographers that was there. ended up raining pretty much all afternoon but it was still fun!

a friend of mine is gonna give me his old kouki tail lights before he sells his car which is sick! and a scored a killer deal on an OMP seat at todays event, fits my arse perfect and it was only $150 haha didn't get many runs today though because i needed to save tires for another event i'm driving on the 17th at limerock in connecticut.

all i need now are some spacers for up front, i need to tuck my wire harness so i can slam the bitch, a quick release, bolt in cage and a hydraulic hand brake. i'll probably get the cage this winter and the rest of the stuff including a kit and possibly some different wheels throughtout next summer. i ended up not getting into Maynooth but i got accepted into griffith college in dublin which is still awesome! i gotta save all my pennies this fall though haha i'll add a video clip to this post later tonight.

cheers guys! it was literally my first time drifting on dry pavement haha only took me like one run to really figure out the grip. my goal for next summer is to be able to connect the whole track into on drift, i just need to come out wider/closer to the wall on the last corner and maybe get into 3rd for the long stretch back to the first corner.

i'm waiting for this kid i know to upload a pic of the wreck he got with his gopro from on the car! i'm kinda excited to see it haha the driver is fine, and we straightened out the front end, duck-taped/ziptied some intercooler piping together and he drove it the rest of the day like a champ.

nice! i'm so excited to be over there already in general, but now that i'm more than likely able to hit up some local drift events too is just the cherry on top. unfortunately i can't spend much on the 240 though for the rest of the fall because i need to bring over so much money with me : / i really wanna bring back an s15 or a chaser lol (not gonna happen)

i'm so pumped to get them! they'll make the ass end of the car look 10x better. and IK right? drifting in the rain is honestly so much fun, alotta my friends here bitch about it because it's "too easy" or "it's not real drifting", but honestly, i'm a broke ass college student haha if i can save money on tires and still get to drift for a day i'll take on the rain!

andddd my friend's missile car. ka24 with a straight exhaust, homemade tall hand brake and a welded diff. i'm excited to see it run and take it out in the fields and whatnot too haha should be an absolute riot. a few friends of mine had the shell laying around that they cut into the truck back (will hopefully get finished) and they had a ka just laying around the shop that we threw in over the weekend. we need a new body harness though because the wiring is absolutely fucked haha but other than that we're hopefully gonna be taping walls with it next year!

i haven't done much this break, i've been busy trying to catch up with family and friends before i leave for ireland on the 22nd! i'll be in the country till may 19th so i'm hoping to get a glimpse of the irish car scene while i'm over :cool: i wanna catch some of your guys local events and the first round of the irish pro drift would be cool.

the only update i have is that i've started stripping the paint off of my battles. i still can't decide if i wanna keep them and just re paint them either white or green, or i might just paint em white and sell them for a set of 17/18 rota p45r's and tuck some wheel out back (my ideal set up), we'll see what happens.

i plan on hopefully getting a decent job over the summer and spend all my money on drift events and tires. all i really wanna do to the 240 this summer is wheels, more lows, tuck my wire harness and get a hydraulic hand brake so i can actually lock up my rear wheels on command. i think that alone will benefit my driving greatly

can't wait to get to dublin, it'll be a pretty cool experience spending an extended amount of time in another country. i've been a few times and have family and friends over there so it shouldn't be a huge culture shock or whatever. i'm just gonna miss my cars, but it'll give me a chance to actually focus on my grades which i really need to do this semester anyways haha see ya guys over there!

So it's been over a year since I was studying in Ireland for about 4 months. I can't believe it's even been that long already, "craic was unreal" I guess I'll put it. I met "pole drift" aka Joe while visiting and he took me to the first round of IDC at Mondello. That happened to be the first competitive drift event I had ever spectated at the time, and I loved the atmosphere. Later on in 2013 I went to Formula Drift at Wall Stadium in New Jersey, and it just seemed different.. Yeah it was cool being able to walk around the pits, talk to drivers and see the cars up close but it didn't feel as "down to earth"... idk how to describe it.. I'll stop blabbering about that, this thread was meant to be about my 240..

Anyways, so a lot of things have changed since I last posted about it. I'll attempt to re cap last year into this year... basically drove a few events, and tore the car apart close to a bare shell with my father last winter. we fully rebuilt the motor with all nissan components, added a gt2871r .64 and 660cc fuel injectors, i bought a set of weds kranze borphes and had a local welder weld in a cage my dad got me for my birthday. i had some of my friends from drift faction help me roll and pull my rear fenders properly with a fender roller and spent more than 40 hours one week early this summer and re painted it (mainly myself, i let my dad spray the clear coat because that shit is thick and i make too many runs with it lol). and i ended up with a g-corporation body kit. i actually found it on ebay, and did a bunch of research on g corporation and to see who was running it in the US. found like one car with that was 4x4 ride height status, and i wasn't sure if i liked it or if i could even pull it off. but i think i did, and i fell in love with the results. there's still much more to come, mainly more team tandem style drifting and Livery i've been working on for Final Bout 2015... which by the way Joe added me to the Clutchkick.net team while over in Ireland.. I've been very busy but I was able to go to Final Bout a few weeks ago way out in Wisconsin and got some decent coverage of it (i'll post a few pictures of it).
