hi lads just wondern mayb stupid question
but will a car wit a welded diff pass a nct
my starlet failed before anyway, your man said mainly cos the brakes could be fucked on one side and she would still get an equal reading

my s13 passed no problem
i've heard of some lads passing, just chance it, if it fails just get a standard diff

If u tell them It has a 2 way diff they can't test it on the rollers! So they'll take the car outside and a brake test then!

Make sure to tell them its a aftermarket limited slip diff and it is not to be tested on the rollers as per nct specs

i passed with a welded but i jus told them it was a 2 way cos they failed one of the lads with a welded diff so jus tell them its a 2 way

not just 2 ways, can damage any lsds.

Another reason is if you've a welded diff or 2way and you get a brake test on the rollers with just say no l/h brake, a welder will give the impression of a brake even tho there's none, but the tester should notice it when movin the car!
