s14 no.6. the keeper (pic heavy)

well i said id throw up a build thread for my road car as im getting work done now .this is my sixth s14 and i am planning on building this one as my own road car.
history of the car
the car was imported in 2010 and looked like this

i had always liked this car and this one was the reason i got my first s14 so when i saw it on donedeal for 3000 i tried to get the cash to buy it but it sold before i could .but to my luck it came up for breaking on here so i bought the whole car bar the running gear and the kit n wheels.
i got a vertex kit and i then bought a set of hot stuff meshes off darragh which made it look like this

i wasnt happy with the look of it so i decided to go full oem kit
i got a kouki front bumper ,zenki rear bumper and some spats

so thats were it stands now .
my plans for it now are
exterior
greddy front lip
kouki spoiler
dmax roof spoiler
dmax bonnet
led tail lights
navan side skirts
maybe some deeper alloys
engine
i havent decided between a rb25 or a sr22 yet but it all depends on the money
so thats it for now .all comments welcome :afro:

liking the plans man!! love the oem kouki kit!! id try get zenki spats if you can! also dmax bonnets dont work well with the kouki kit, but other than that best of luck!!

Thanks lads i happen to like the way the dmax bonnet looks with the oem kit.i got navan spats but i prefer the ones on it theyre like navan ones with kouki ones moulded into them.

Very cool car here, go ahead with your plans and it shud be a gem! wouldnt be awful fond of kouki spoilers on them but deffo a roof spoiler!

Ive been thinking about engines and i have a sr20de that im thinking of putting in for a while and then get a rb25 when i want more power.i was thinking off putting it in and getting ITB's,alloy rad,hks manifold .

i dont know wish i knew were the vs-kf's myself they suited it
have the sr20de engine ready to be taken out of another car so should have it done it the next few weeks and its also geting a full respray in bmw interlagos blue soon

with the choice of an RB or SR I'd pick an RB all day long. The SR NA will make for a nice daily though!

yeah dil thats the only reason im going with the sr20de as this is going to be my daily so i want something easy on juice and reliable.

bit of an update on this too.decided to try on a navan front end the other day and it looks sweet so planning on staying with it

small update .i picked up a 97 navan bootlid .whats good about these is they have the light up 'silvia' brake light

well was waiting till i had an engine to update this said i might as well update.
i bought sideskirts and a kouki back bumper off daragh

i got the wheels fitting right with 20mm spacers on the rear and 5mm on the front . i then primered the side of the car as it will be headin away to paint over the christmas

i also bought a good dash,white clocks and two dc2 recaros for the interior.
i also got some gauges so i said i would make up a holder for them

Interested to see how you get the dc2 recaros fitting. I heard they sit awful high in s-bodies. I have 2 sitting in another car but never bothered even trial fitting them because of what I heard

Im getting customs rails made up .i heard a lot of stories too but i dont mind because theyre so comfortable and fit my fat arse :p
