The Next Drift Practice and Competition at Aghadowey Race Circuit

Saturday 25th August 2012

Round 6 N1 Drift Series

Gates open at 08.00am for Sign in, with Drivers Briefing at 08.45am
With the first Session Starting at 09.00am Sharp

Practise will be from 9.00 until 2.00pm with the Competition starting around 2.00pm.
Normally the Competition takes 2 hours and then there will be open pit until 5.00pm.

The main difference with the Competition this Event is it will be held at the bottom corner of
the Track instead of the top Hairpin, this is to increase Entry Speeds, Angle and to see who’s got Balls of Steel

Hopefully the weather will be dryer this time,
if it is as wet as before we will continue with the Competition
but use the top Hairpin instead of Bottom Corner


This will be the Penultimate
Competition of the N1 Drift Series with the last Round of 2012
being held at Eglington next Month

i know this vid was already posted earlier in the videos thread but
think this video sums up how i and all those involved with the n1 drift series
feel about drifting and so long as we keep it fun for everyone and keep the
days as laid back as they are, we hope the sport can grow as the series
developes.

Nope Driftfan, I didn't get in last day,(Not Welcome) Had to take a few shots for friends over the fence. But I do think they should rewrite their post, "Everyone Welcome" except Gary. LOL. I am ok for Eglinton and bishopscourt, Maybe get a few shots if your ever at either.:)

Can't wait hopefully have car ready after bursting sump on way home from prodrift on sat nite but new sump in an just things to tidy. Can't wait to try th tds boosting properly now last day it sucked the air filter in on it's self an was only boosting 0.6

I would like to take this opportunity to Thank all the Drivers
for making today’s event the Great Success it was.
The weather up was really good all day giving great speeds and
Terrific angles from all Drivers

Congratulations to Shaun Watt for winning Round 6 of the N1 Drift Series
to Jonny Bleakley for very close Second palce and to Aidan Gillen
for Third place

Also Congradulations to Jonny Irwin for being the winner of
Highest Speed at the first Clipping point at 74mph with
Jonny Bleakley and Bru Ferris with a very Close Second at 73mph

Big thanks to Con Tinney and Benny Kearney for doing a very
fair bit of bit of Judging as some of the Twin Battles were close
and also to the Marshalls, Amanda, Connie, Darryl, Paddy and Stevie

Hope you all enjoyed today as much as we did and now
looking forward to seeing you all at Eglington for the Last Round
of the N1 Drit Series on the Sunday the 23rd Of September

id like to say big thanks to the team unreal day that wee bit of water just triples the laps to a set of tyres,
absolutley unreal bit of driving and raw talent from everyone in the series!!

intresting the speed however id like to be able to say ya would'nt know you were doing it lol i could feel every mph

well done to all those who took part in the series thus far and jus to stir it up
the final round at eglinton will have double points so any of the top 3 could still take the series title but all shaun watt will have to do is qualify at least 7th to take the title and anyone in top 20 could still take 2nd or 3rd so
its still all ta play for !
