im thinking of welding my diff but need some1 in kerry 2 weld it. but is it worth it.:confused:

It would yeah, hard on tyres too. Your better off fitting a 2way diff.. she'll slide when u want her to and keep her in line when u dont :)

Not at all man, i've a 318i here with a welded diff, no bothers in daily driving at all

Oh rite, my mistake.. Just that a mate of mine had a sierra on the road for a while with a welder in it and he reckoned it was lethal at times, i presumed it be the same with all road-goin cars with welded diffs.

welder was fine in my e30 just make sure your rear subframe bushings are ok.
welder will put abit more pressure on them
on the e30's the bushing on the back off the diff that it hangs on espically.
just my experience in my e30 anyway

Ye weld the shit outa her !! Ours is welded n shes fine, bit skitish if your movin round the garage or parkin but no biggy at all !!!
