View Full Version : My S14A Road car
Picked this up a few weeks ago, had been looking for something clean for a while as a road car, and this suited me perfectly.
Originally a uk car, 88k miles, full folder of receipts, include original sales brochure, and mag feature buying guide.

Haha, love the reflection of the dog on the door.
Nice & Clean!
feck me thats spotless! love the uk front bumpers!
Cheers lads, after a few small bits to make it minty fresh, cover for the nut on the rear wiper, mint drivers seat, full floor carpet, a steering lock made a hole just below the steering wheel, and possibly a new boot lid without a spoiler, to see how it looks, don't want to mess with the one on it.
Sorry for the sneaky wanted bit.

fuck me that's one clean s14 , i must say i like it the way it is!
So I picked these up tonight, only a pair but I'm in no rush to source another pair, and I'm not paying the $2k for another new pair.
18" 9.5j et2, I think they'll poke a bit much on the rear, but I might swap the dishes for something smaller.

Also got this a while back, off C-rex, waiting to get a second matching bucket seat and I must get a rail for it. Needs to be retrimmed so thinking of cream leather to suit the rest of the interior and it would be a bit different.

Also have a suede dished sparco wheel to fit, but want a snap off boss first.
Hopefully get the underside of this stripped over christmas and refurb the subframes and a few coats of undersealer.
If possible could a Mod move this to the build section, thanks.
wheels are epic dude and do not re trim that seat in cream leather will look tacky leave it as is

im sure a fella down by me used own this. Worked in the johnson and perrot down by mahonpoint. Was a few years ago at this stage but minded it like a baby.
would love a nice unmolested one like this for a daily. Good luck with it
Nice car looks clean as fec!
I'll have to retrim the seat before I fit it, has too many small rips for my OCD so I'll see, will get it done properly so won't look tacky anyway.
Yea a mechanic in Johnson and Perrot imported it originally, I've had a few people tell me he minded it alright, shows in the car too.
Thanks Ali.

one clean s14 ,, you goin using it as daily ??
No it's not a daily, would be ruined with the roads, and would rob me for the mileage I do.
I haven't done much with this in the last while only take it out the odd Sunday. But I've been gathering parts.
Well mostly seats actually :p

Also picked up a pair of 2.5" lips off Ali-d19367897799 for the Works, as I'd like to fit these on the front and get another pair for the rear.

The arches arent rolled so there's only a few mill clearance in that pic, need a skinnier tyre.
And a quick pick of what they might look like from the side.

Though I'm still undecided about them. I like the darker wheels against the red and have been looking for somthing else like a set of CE28's.
Or if anybody has any suggestions let me know, preferably with pics for inspiration.
Also have a few bits on the way from Jesse Streeter. Next up I must try and get a few bob together and get a Jap rear bumper, then paint though I think that could be a slippery slope.
CE28's are a cool wheel if you can get your hands on some I would!
Love the bride too!

My mouth is waterimg at them brides!!!
glad they all arrived safe dude :) will look awsome :) missing My seat tho :/
Cheers lads, the Brides look well alright but my height means it's a battle of nice seats against comfort and acting like a monkey trying to get out of the car, they are seriously tight compared to the Recaro and I'm not the biggest.
Cheers again Alan, took me a while to unwrap them alright.
Savage car I remember sitting in the car a few years back wen one of the lads had it.. Unbelievabley clean.. Best of luck with her lad
So the postman arrived with this today, I wasn't there to meet him but I wonder what he thought of the labelling on the box:wink:.

All courtesy of Jesse Streeter. You couldn't find somebody easier to deal with once you know what you want, and for the comission he took it was hardly worth his while sending me a heap of emails, not to mind the amount of sellotape on the package.

Work Rs-r nuts.
Works bell rapfix lock kit
Work short boss kit
Bride FG rail. For anyone half lanky like myself who has trouble fitting in to an s-body with a Bride seat this is awesome.
I've the glitterback on this and with it slid back I'm almost sitting in the back seat and on the floor.
Next up is a Jap rear bumper and maybe new wheels.
Jesse is sound to deal with iv only got quotes off him at the minute but the trouble he goes to for the money hes making is frightning
jap back bumper will look the tits dude

how much was the works bell? was it new or secondhand?
Brand new in whatever colourway I wanted, worked out about €320 when you divide up commission and postage.
Mmmmm aluminum nuts brave man, they are not aloud to be used in drifting you know and for a perfectly good reason
I know I've heard plenty of stories about them, but they're mainly for show as I have steel nuts already but they look shit and the paint is all peeling.
I don't spend my time going sideways anyway and know to torque them and check them.
If they give me any trouble they'll be getting the bin.
Do you still have the bumper Tj ?

one of cleanest s14's iv seen, keep it in good shape.
Yeah I still have the red one
I was hoping you still had the white one.
In other news, I went to fix what i thought was a slow puncture this evening, but I've somehow managed to crack a front wheel.
I can't remember hitting anything so it must just be rota's quality.

If anybody has a single 17x8j et35 torque let me know.
Though I think I may just look for a new set of wheels now.

cheers. car looks extremely clean, look forward to seeing what you do with it.
Looks very clean man looking forward to seeing it finished also.
Seeing as I should be studying I guess this is an ideal time to update this, and a few pics from the last while.
Well I sold the VS-xx as I've grown to like the darker wheels, and I bought a set of AME Tracers.
So the car currently sits like thishttp://farm9.staticflickr.com/8397/8681141051_38eb2d684f.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/damien671/8681141051/)

Well, under the covers in the garage.
I also bought a set of BBS LM's, which I'll hopefully get around to polishing the lips on over christmas, I'm also going to paint the centres though I cant decide on a colour.
I think grey would be a safe bet, but I'm still tempted to go white .

Oh and I have a set of genuine Takata harnesses to fit too, for when I eventually take this thing to the track.
I picked up this Kouki rear bumper a while back too. If I get this sprayed to fit it I'll only end up spraying the whole car :o so I'll wait another while I think.

I've plans for more power, but It'll be march before I have it out on the road again I'd say, so plenty of time to gather parts for that.
