hello have a white r32 that im putting a rb26 into over the past 3 years due to funding problems from lack of work.
I got it as first owner 4 yrs ago with rb20 trust filter,unknown cat back,silenced decat rsr downpipe std turbo and elbow and i/c hks delimiter,greddy emanage blue,profec b sp 2

the engine when i got it had a bit of wear,especially the head and bottom end!! some bits of the valve guides had broke off and a few were cracked ready to break.

Right the bottom end spun a bearing and marked the crank so brought it to ESL in laneborough who took .5mm of the crank and had it polished.i think the engine was donated from a 33gtr as it had the long nosed oil pump drive.
added a new n1 oil pump,acl bearings,new rings from erics performance in america.i dont have any pics of the build up sorry:(

oh yea i put about 50 hrs into the inlet manifold:p

cheers micko always wanted to know what they were.that pic was soon after i got it this time 2008!!
there standard 33 turbos (for now) with 30k kms on them cousin got the from japan and never used them.done a few jobs for him and gave them for nothing!

it sure has its the funding thats the problem but not to worry i winning the euromillions tonite ha!
since the guides were in bad shape due to wear,the valve seats suffered as a result.so got a set of valve guides from erics performance again.sent the head of to corcorans in castlebar (engine-re) who pushed in the guides,machined all the shims,reseated the valves and lapped them in.

im going to go for a change of colour with vaux glacier white.i had a bit of a tip with her 3 yrs ago and done a quick fix to keep me going went from this:

about a month ago i got a friend to come over to do the engine bay and to tidy up my previous mishap.i had a front corner of a doner gtr cut out and trimmed it down weled into place

That little buck richie,done a great job on it.i did the welding was a bit tough as it was 1mm mig wire got there in the end though!!!

Fair play to ya for committing to this beaut and not selling it on! Great job so far! Looking forward to the updates
How's things folks I still have the car and hopefully I'll make a start on it in a couple of weeks. She's sitting on a set of vsxx's now and alloy gtr wings👍
