Well lads. My n/a s15 has developed a loud whining/squeeling noise from the rear brakes when im reversing. A buddy of mine reckons its the handbrake shoes need replacing. This makes sense because the noise doesnt stop when i press the brake pedal. Iv been doing a bit of googling on it and havent found much, some people are saying they dont have handbrake shoes:confused:. Basically wondering do S15s have handbrake shoes within the rear drum or does the handbrake work off the calipers and pads? Also wondering will 200sx shoes fit it as i can get these easily from the motor factors?

Dont think any of the sbodies have handbrake shoes man, i remember i was thinking of upgrading to r33 rear breaks as they hand a show for the handbrake. The s15 n/a 100% doesnt have them anyway
