as above sat in the car today and the rev clock needle is jumping all over the place and this sucks, just wondering has anyone had this problem is it...sender/clock? or is it solder gone dry at some contacts?

just want some info to go straight to the problem instead of wasting time :p

Ya its a common problem alright. Happens in my own one.

There is a thread somewhere on how to fix it, maybe sxoc. Its dry solder or something at the back of the clocks.

does your clock only go nuts every so often or what?

Ya its fairly random when it happens. Sometimes bounces around the place like mad and sometimes just goes up all the way and stays up. No real pattern to it.

nice one anyways paul but i took it apart and there was brown stuff like varnish bleeding across connections from blobs of solder on the rev board, cleaned it up and it is working fine now
