is it turning over
the problem is more than likely your wiring or you connected the battery the wrong way ?!
the shit has hit the fan if you blew a 100 amp fuse
do a continuity test on all your fuses and go from there
you have a live earthing off the body lad probally got the wires mixed up on your gauges ,where did you take the power from for the gauges? pinny lol (the shit has hit the fan if you blew the 100amp fuse) but its true.....hope your ecu is still ok
I've connect the gauges to the key as I have done before on other cars and they worked fine how will I no if the ecu is gone someone has said to me It mite be some relays if this is the case witch ones

Even bits of the fuse may have hit the fan with a bang like that :) lol

ecu could well be fucked
ecu could well be fucked

Id say you just connected the battery backwards
Id say you just connected the battery backwards
Battery was on the correct I know this because one of the battery poles is thicker than the other and it can only go on one way and the earth was connect to the battery from the last time I had the car started as I just removed the live when I was working at the car
If its not your battery its your guages are wired wrong. you have a positive somewere going straight to earth. If it is your guages tho im very surprised you didnt melt the wireingas you had over 100 amps flowing through it. Disconnect your guages completely replace all the fuses that are blown make 100% sure the battery is connected correctly and try start it.
