Right I have standard lock at the moment and will be getting more but the problem is I'm already havin clearance issues on standard lock as it is.
The wheels are rubbing the front and the back of the inner wheel well, and they are also hitting the tension rods. The wheels are 18x9.5 and it says E 30 on the back of them so that's the offset ya?and there is already 20mm spacers on them. Want to keep these wheels on front but will get small wheels 17x7 or something like that if I have to.

So 2 main questions :

1.Apart from getting smaller wheels do I fork out some money and get the arches tubbed, or do I beat out the arches with a sledge for nothing but would this weaken them?

2. Apart from getting smaller wheels and bigger spacers will extending my bottom arms and keeping the tension rods/arb original mounting points help the clearance issues here or is there a way I can mount them in further on the arm?

If any of this seems stupid take no notice I'm only going by what I see and new to all this.

All help greatly appreciated.

get the 17" by 8" wheel with good offset or spacers. Beat the lip on the chassie leg flat and Widen your front track by extending the lower arms. No need for tubbing at all.

get a hammer and hit everything the wheels are hiting
get a 25mm or even 30mm spacer and roll your front acrhs no need to get new wheels

wow wow!!!! Dont go cutting the lower arm if your car is for the road. pritty sure u wont pass any tests. if its track car belt away. But id say ud be better off gettin the drift works arms instead. or if money is a problem they can be got cheaper on ebay...

Ah tis fine I have test till end of this year and think I'll keep it as track car after that, doesn't get much road use anyway. Are driftworks arms good quality?have you used them before or has anyone else on here?
