ok so having a problem with the origonal vw transporter rims cracking a lot watever shite there made from ... at first we just thaught it was a rough pothole and bad luck or watever but after looking about getting a spare wheel found that a lot of them are cracking along with merc vito's aswell ,
so anybody on here know where or have any vw transporter or 5x120 bmw rims about ? as my bmw alloys will fit it , lokking for more though as 17'' 8j arnt quite ideal for an 07 transporter ,
so prefered 16 inch anything fitting 215 225 235 tire would be good alloys or rims ok
please leave a comment or pm
thanks

the place where my father works they have a few transporters and it keeps happening and they keep getting new wheels from vw garage and that fixes it for a while, why dont you put tubes in them , its what i would do if i had one,

What size are the tyres on them? You can get tubes to suit up to 215 definately. Some Audi rims might suit the job aswell if you keep an eye out

225's .... dont know if tubes will work with edges of wheels cracking would it not be slightly dangerous no ??

Don't really know. Are they hairline fractures or proper splits in the rims? Could bring them to a tyre centre and they'll know by having a look if it would suit or not.

Navara's have the same problem, however Nissan are recalling everyone one of them and replacing the wheels!

In the last few months I'd say I've done 40 or 50 of them!

I'd get on to vw ireland and complain!
