Tyre Question on Altezza!!!

Need tyres on my altezza on the front, the front tyres are 205/40 r17 and the rear are 215/45/r17. Would this affect the handling of the car and should I have the same profile all round!!!:confused::confused::confused:

the car will handle better if you have the same tyres all round... width is not as much the issue, its more hight

if your having width issues on the front 205/50 r17 is alot closer to the overall hight of a 215/45r17 as the profile is a % of width not mm

eg 215/45 r17 sidewall depth is 45% of 215

but if your changing all 4 and want to keep 205's on the front, 225/45r17 and 205/50 r17 are the same overall hight.

but if it was me i would run 215/45 r17 all round thats the right size for your oem rims
