r33 is misfiring, the coils have been replaced recently but it sounds like its not firing on all cyclinders, and wont rev over 3k without back firing...

any ideas???

would it be the cam sensor or plugs

plugs seem grand there only new, should i adjust the cam sensor slightly and see if that makes a difference yea?? could that make it run like its missing tho??

cheers for your reply con

get a loan of another set of coil packs that you know are workin 100% anf fit them. and leave the center cover over the coil packs off to keep them a little cooler.
i had 3 sets of coilpacks in my car in a couple months. just kept overheating and blowin.

sounds like your air flow meter to me lad. same happened in my r32 a few years back.

get a loan of one and test it out

Plugs... Cheak what heat range they are. My old one had a missfire for ages till i changed the plugs and it ran perfect, till of course those plugs got burnt and it started all over again
