Hey lads,
As some of ye may know, I made pure shit of my 180SX at Prodrift Round 3 in Punchestown last year.
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/264490_1842390862906_1334637357_31819978_2715630_n .jpg
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/268292_222683561099337_100000730844054_702334_4787 219_n.jpg
So after that there was nothing to do but start repairing and rebuilding!
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0121.jpg
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0123.jpg
I started stripping it down, and found that my intercooler
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0137.jpg
oil cooler
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0138.jpg
and radiator
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0146.jpg
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0141.jpg
were all fucked :(
After stripping it down, I realised that the damage was worse than I thought, and the chassis leg was moved over and down a small mickey length (a good two inches)
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0147.jpg
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0148.jpg
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0174.jpg
Also a Tein tie rod in shit
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0125.jpg
So like any fella in this situation would do, I called on the Polish fella, and set him to work! ;)
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0170.jpg
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0177.jpg
As ye can see, the valance was unrepairable...
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0179.jpg
Se he cut it out
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0183.jpg
So then Mr. Mike Fitz said I could cut the only good side off his Bridgestone Sileighty, so I called up to him and did a bit of this...
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/270084_227124073996682_100000972722020_605656_6500 44_n.jpg
To get this...
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/198751_227124307329992_100000972722020_605661_2142 3_n.jpg
So I set the Polish fella to work again, and I said while we were at it we would move the tubs forward to stop the wheels rubbing off em (Idea copyright Gavin Lenihan!)
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0189.jpg
http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy263/stack-180sx/drift%20car%20rebuild/DSCN0188.jpg
Once he had all that finished, I stripped it to a bare shell and sent it away to RoCo Performance to get a new cage and bumper bar, while I fucked off to Australia for five months.

Jaysus man thats a lovely set up car, all round!! some power id say lad, some lift out of her!! yea wcp are very good and really nice bloke John is! alot of lads seem to not understand that the Dyna Dynamics rolling road is the finest rolling road out there that gives true and pin point readings!!!! and not a figure that you want to hear!! I know there is some pull out that car of yours yea? that 365 WOULD BE 400+ in other places.
who mapped that for u??
why such low bhp ? tdp are givin lads 320bhp on standard engine standard air flow and standard injectors... and all the work u hav done then and only a small power figure for 1.3 bar???
