Will be making a few sets for our m3's soon, they should help drop a little weight, not that much id say but all adds up.

Buy a pre made kit!!! I'm making some at the moment for my r32 and they are a f* nightmare to mould/shape!

I bought 2 sheets in 2.5m x 1.2/3 meter size from Grp4 in Galway for €222 ex-vat. 300 quid ain't bad man to be honest

ah it would only be worth it i think if ya were going all out like taking out the heater cutting out the boot floor and all that like not much weight will be saved but if ya want to put them in go for it i did'nt bother all though i probaly will if i break windows should the unspeakable happen

300 quid is a bout the goin rate for a pre-cut set. just too buy the sheets and cut it urself would cost maybe half that? im puttin em in the m3 when chuck has em cut, ive the boot floor cut out, heater matrix gone, and lighter partly-stainless exhaust being made at the mo so all them bits would add up! dont think the polycarbonate windows have any disadvantage?

Lads, www.goldstarplastics.ie are based in walkinstown dublin and are very very cheap for polycarbonite, i think i got my full car for €130. They cut them to the approx size that you need so ya dont have any waste either!!
