Hello and a Happy New Year to Everyone.

Due to the weather being a lot milder than expected and many requests for another Drift Practice
we have decided to move the Drift Practice day forward from the 25th Feb to the 4th February 2012

As daylight is still short at this time of year there will be no competition this time but it will be held at the next event in March

The next Drift Practice at Aghadowey Race Circuit
Saturday 4th February 2012

Gates open at 08.00am for Sign in, with Drivers Briefing at 08.45am
With the first Session Starting at 09.00am Sharp

Drivers £50.00, all Spectators £10.00, Children under 12 Free

This the perfect place lad it was my first day doing a trackday in my car the seat time you get is unreal for the money be going 2 the next 1 for sure hope 2 c you there :)

No booking in, just come with your car and bring a crash helmet its all you need for the Drift Practice :)
You will be told whats what at the drivers breifing :wink:

Can't fucking wait for this!!! Havent been out since hi octane with the wedding, Xmas and honeymoon............... Now that's all out of the way, back to bit of sliding. Look out for the grey 14 could be a little rusty lol. C.A.E. hitting 'er in style with 3 cars heading a 180, a ps13 "onevia" and my 14, I can defo see fibreglass flying after a few "friendly" nudges!!!

took the car out ther last nyt for the 1st after getting the boost screwed lol a little bit, and **** i cant wait till get out. hope theres no rain to we get alota smoken done :cool: yea think the list was scraped cos most of the ppl onit never showed.

Hi Lads, had a call from the tyre guy and unfortunatly there has been a death in his family and he wont be there, sorry about that. I have been able to arrange a temporary tyre machine so if u need any change that shouldnt be a problem but there will be no tyres for sale. Hope thats OK

Thanks for all the positive feed back. A big thank you to all the Marshalls who braved the weather, and thanks to all the Drifters, it was our best turn out so far and even though it was damp everyone seemed to have great time.

I will hopefully be back to you on Monday evening to confirm the next event which should be Saturday 10th of March.

Had a great day out, some quality driving out there (Especially M3Con, I dont think I seen you slacken all day!!!)

I brought a friend to do a video of the day, he has given me over 300 HD video's to sort through, So I am going to edit a full video together some time this week.

Cant wait until next time.

My first time at Aghadowey and I had such a good day! Started getting the hang oh the long chicanes near the end which were fun, probably wouldn't have tried them if it wasn't wet tho!

Had a class day at this!!! Havn't bin on the track since it was stopped 5 years ago, though was getting the hang of it after a few laps. Love the way the track is set up now, especially the transition from the chicane to bottom corner!!
s14a ran sweet all day with no probs. Everybody was slidin really well!
Choppy, enjoyed the tandums at the end with you on my bumper n my bro in front :D
Lookin forward to seein some vids.
Roll on the next one, hopefully have the Soarer ready

great day's craic yet again, put the twincam into the gate at the start of the chicken run, damaged the wing but nothin a pointy hammer and wipe of isopon wont sort lol bring on the next one!

What makes it better now than 5/6 years ago is the track layout with the chicane and transition to the bottom corner, and the track time, as it was at the end of 2011!!!
Maybe should have worded my last post better :)

never worry about it lad sounds like sum1 as a bee in there ass !
hada lethal morning out after the rustyness went away and me an bk were starting to get close at stages but then doing the hole track in 3rd turned bad and i stripped 3rd gear so day over. big thanks to all the marshals and role on the next 1 !!!!!!!:D

First off apologies to "chris200s13" in asking the question "So what makes it better run now than before" this was not an attack on you or the drifting at aghadowey, but merely I wanted to know out of curiosity what had changed. I have no wish to see Aghadowey Drift Days to fail. I feel that any comments I make seem to be analysed in such a way that I am still pissed off that I am no longer involved with it, That is not the case, after all I played as big a part as anyone to bring drifting back to it and would not like to see it fail in any way.

Sorry Guys for not having given a new date yet, due to other track comitments its taking a little longer than first expected,
we may have to revert to the original March date of the 24th but this will be confirmed by the weekend. I will keep you posted :)

This was my first ever time editing video in any shape or form, I really enjoyed it even though Adobe Premiere was a nightmare to render with, hopefully I will get the chance to do more in the future.

Apology if you were drifting at the event and I missed your car in the video, with mixed weather through the day it was impossible to get decent quality video's all day and I have just used the best of what I had.

Big thanks to Uel Linton (Capture Photography) for providing the camera and capturing the video's on the day.

Right lets put this to bed, Damien and Stewart and who ever else that feels this way. Yous have WON. I have resigned this morning as a judge for UDC. Over the last few months it has not been easy for me coming to terms with events that left me an outsider in a sport that I loved. But no matter what I say or do it is never going to right. I thought I had good friends in the drift community (especially my aghadowey friends) this has been proven to be wrong( but that is probably my fault as well) So what is left for me and drifting....... nothing. So guys there you go, I hope this keeps you happy. And if I have deleted you from Facebook, lead you astray, annoyed you in anyway. My sincere apologies.
