well all, as last year finished the car looked like this and i got my first bit of silver ware in ennis at rd 1.....

i have a pretty ok spec built up over the two years suspension arms etc and she handles fairly well, so if funds allow ill try get some powers this year as last year i only had 268 bhp...
so i got a power fc and s15 injectors for a start hopefully get some sort of afm z32 or rb25.

i decided to re shell it into anther shell that carpo donated last year, and make it as light as possible and get as much lock as possible on a small budget

Nice work dude! Ye went mad with the grinder alright! :cool: I like the idea of cutting out the quarters on the outside for weight saving, would like to do this myself. I take it you cant cut up the quarters now though for more room??? What size wheels and tyres are you running?

Bit if you cut the quarters up on the outside you will have a gap with nothing there from the rear of the wheel arch to the front of the wheel arch and it will be flimsy and ruin the structure of the arch will it not??????

Also, that foam that fills gaps may come in handy, gives the fibreglass quarter a bit of support.

I havent them fully cut yet. Just the center piece. The main structure is all stil there if you get me

I know this is probably a stupid question.. but why are people cutting out the front and replacing them with piping? What's the benefit.. surely you're not saving much weight? Protect the engine from a bad crash? Custom mounting of the rad?

made 280bhp at .7 bar, turbo or the adjustable actuator was causing a boost leak somewhere and wasnt holding the .9 bar we were hoping for, happy with it tho
