was driving today and noticed the car overheating,had a look at the engine and there was water/steam shooting out the hole in the pictures below have it circled in red.does anyone know what should be there and why it would have came off

if i'm looking at this rigth thing is this not you water feed for the turbo??

no turbo is on the other side this is under the intake manifold

thats the thermostat housing

X2 if theres water pissing out with steam then

its deafntly a bleed srew !

nothing to major .... :)

just had a took the holes not threaded,best thing to do would be replace the thermostat and housing

was there coolant in the car it could have been a frost plug

ya coolant was full.tried looking for pictures of thermo housings but couldnt see much

if you threading it take it off...

little metal filings could get into the system.

wont be threading it.it seems to be a tap in frost plug

prob jus the pressure, anyluck getting one i had coulpe problems with pipes goin brittle and bursting on mine had to heat wrap everything
