View Full Version : Private drift day Eglington 29/1/12
Right lads had loads of lads askin bout another run out before feburary so ave got Eglington booked again for 29th of January
Same Craic as last time 2 tracks but both will be changed for the 29th
Am heading down before Christmas with the digger to move the clay bank
Which will leave it bout an extra 20 ft wider as the bank claimed a few splitters
And bumpers the last time. Won't have a definate layout for the big track as few of us gonna head down next Sunday ta set it up a will take pics and vids and put it up here next week
As with the last time tracks will suit complete novice to the experienced drifters
A water tanker will be on stand by but will not be used till the majority of drivers agrees to it's use and only after 1pm on the big track but can be used at any time on novice track if requested
Usual fee of 50 per driver and 10 per A person with them
Stickin this up now ta give plenty of notice For everyone

whats ment by private is no spectators , but ya can take a pit crew with ya as long as ya all travel in the tow wagon / drift car .

Didnt have much luck with the car , pulled the oil cooler down and busted it early on .

That's the last practice day at Eglington till towards the
End of the year gonna stick with the layout used yesterday
And set up a some proper drift competition days starting
In april a have judges sponsors trophies and marshals ready
Ta go jus gonna finalise a date this week should know for definate
By the end of this week

Was a great days craic just a pity my downpipe on the 14 decided to half itself early on.
Good to see everyone had fun anyone, plenty of craic and carnage! I have a couple of vids i got on the gopro(nothin brilliant as it was my first time using it and the rain was a cyunt)....it seemed to make a few people nervous havibg the camera on them too lol

What do you use for editing vids?
I was using windows live movie maker Rory , was already on the laptop and handy enough to use .
