Just off the phone with mondello there the next drift practice is on sunday the 27th winter time 10-4 o clock 125 yoyos.
i asked the girl on the phone what layout is it going to be? and was told "the same as the last day" i said is it prodrift or regular after the row last time "same as the last day" is all she said. so im hopeing it i'll be regular layout. so whos in

how do ya book in lads? do you have to pay before hand or pay on the day ?

ring them 045-860200 pay by card. i dont know if you can pay on the day or not.

do the cars have to be proper spec'd cars? or is an ould bmw ok? whats the regulations cage,harness?

Not sure man, would dout your mate would have to pay the full price. Best to call them on the number back up the page to find out, book and pay. Both of yas will need a drivers licence and a helmet with you on the day and that's you ready to rip the track up!!!

Sure you booked the drift day? Theres a track day the same weekend for 100e. I booked in today for drift day and was 125e. I'd make sure if I was you!
i agree, mine was 125 today so i would call back for sure!!
I'll be there if anyone wants to buy drift tyres or get your own fitted.....

they told us on phone monday that 17 were booked in and if not much more booked in they'll have to cancel it

Been a while since I have been down with the camera so Might make the trip down depending on the weather
if you landed on the day would you be able to pay?? was thinking of going spectating but depending might take the cam and have a go with the wet conditions???

of course, nobody minds, drifting is a fun sport to be kept that way ,youd be more than welcome ! and im sure any of the lads would oblidge to take you on a passenger spin 1st

Fair play man, first time on a new track is one thing but with little experience too, its nerve racking. I had to lead into a session in bishopscourt on my first ever drift day in the rx7 I bought 2 days before and had never slid it. Utterly shitting myself but after the first corner the shit went out the window and the adrenaline kicked in. Never regretted it one bit and it's still the same everytime I hit the track now, love it!!
Any worrys give me a shout or anyone else about there. There's always someone with a free seat. (Im taking my mates wife out for her first ever slide in a car, and she's a screamer. Going to be funny)
But best to just go for it, be a bit soft on the throttle for the first lap or two until you get the feel of both car and track and then relax and enjoy it. Just make sure it's fun dude!!
