Well, got this last thursday, got a fair few plans for her and there's probably more i haven't thought of yet :D

- engine swap for 2.5 from an e34
- upgrade shocks/springs (most likely Bilstein b4's)
- angel eyes
- Tech II kit (open to suggestions on this, i haven't really looked around yet)
- smoked indicators all round
- upgrade brakes
- new black trim on exterior
- new wing mirrors (current ones are cloudy and cracked)
- new interior
- steering rack from e36 (already have it just need to fit it)
- z3 short shifter conversion (already have it just need to fit it)
- alarm
-welded diff
-spare wheels

They're not in any particular order, and there might end up being more done than that i don't know yet lol, but should start working on it on my days off starting tomorrow or tuesday :)

So, pics of it as it starts:

any chance you're in dublin? 2 door 316/318, yeah?

It's one of the two hoses at the back and on the passenger side of the engine that go into the firewall (the ones that provide the waterflow for the heating blowers).
It's the one of the two that connects slightly lower on the bulkhead

Probably fit the short shifter in the next few days. Not sure whether i fancy tackling the steering rack conversion myself or not.. we'll see how brave i'm feeling next week :D

ben in limerick has loads! best ratio...

not any more he doesn't, they all went in the last 2 days on e30owners.com :p
this'll do, it'll be a vast improvement on mine anyway, checked it this morning... 4.5 turns from lock to lock

Thanks to Dave-Msport for pointing out to dopey ole me that since i've bought a PS rack and my yoke doesn't have PS i need to get the reservoir, pump, and piping too. So off to the breakers with me again during the week.

Ok....

diff got welded today, was duly tested out in a *ahem* private area....
very happy with the results :D

replaced a pipe that had split and was causing a minor case of the overheatings

ordered the plastic bearing and the bushing that i'll be needing to replace when i stick in the shortshifter
