s14a flat spot 3000rpm?

Hi guys,

Hope someone can help.

I have just bought a s14a 200sx but its started chugging and gets a flat spot at around 3000rpm and starts chugging and feels like the turbo wants to kick in but just cant....its just been serviced and is idlling like a dream.
Car is running as standard as they come not a tap done to her,
im guessing but just guessing fuel pump?AFM?coils? something along those lines?
any one have the same problem or any suggestion so i can start ruling out things? :(

try a a problem going back last yr with a 180sx same thing at 3k rpm afm sorted it out for me

Does it boost up after 3000rpm or does it stay hesitating ?

sounds like a boost leak or an airflow meter

Had the same thing happen to a 180 i had,turned out to be a bad earth on the fuel pump! You may check the small things 1st! :)
