beamers in general aren't to rev happy, get decent coilovers or chop the standard springs and pray for a bitta rain ;)

Strip it bare too man, the interiors are pretty heavy it'd imagine.

IS's are one of the rev happier bmws actually, will go to 7k id imagine.

if you wana tramp it then

weld da diff
cut da springs
strip out anything that you dont need
& horse it off 6k to get it around

(did this before wit a 518 that we had lyin
around & we only drove it on private land in case anythin went wrong cos twas dodge)


but if you wanna mind it then dont even weld da diff cos it will more that likely give in as i know lads that had da same experience with thier E36's
