yethat lad is in bray i think
if you have the pieces that broke off they can be welded back on grind it down smooth and put a bit of metel isopon on it then youl need to spray then id think it would be handyer and cost about the same to just get a new wheel

just put an add up on donedeal and whatever other forums your on inc some english one. some one could have a few layin about like

im just sayin, the amount of build up thats guna be needed on the back of that rim to give the support where the crack is is guna be mental, i dont think it could be fixed personally and iv had rims fixed before by engineering companies

even if they do fix it like it will start leakin air sooner rather than later, just ask dori rory on here, he had a similar one fixed and it still leaks air out

id say youd be better off getting a new one lad, wouldnt be that far off the price of fixing that one in my opinion and then yad have the piece of mind you wouldnt be driving on what is basically 2 wheels welded together.... thats a big chunk missing haha

I have a pair of Work Cr Kai rims here if you are interested.

17" x 9.5". ET +44.

They bronze with a few marks on them but dead straight.

If that was a rare or expensive JDM rim, then maybe it would be worth attempting a repair.

Without starting the Rota debate.. is it really worth it?

What happens if it breaks, tire blows out and you go down a ditch?

Bet a new wheel wouldn't cost that much more than a proper repair job. You've also got the peace of mind of your own and others safety, if thats your thing.

To give you an idea it cost me £114 to have 2x hairline cracks TIG welded (forged ally wheels) - maybe that was expensive, although it was a good job. But the cracks were tiny....

If it was a 10.5J TE37 in a discontinued size I could understand but a Rota...
