right lads bought myself a track car as iv been going to watch pro drift and all other drift event for to long now and wanted to get myself a track car and get out their and join in the fun..

so i went a bought a 180sx, car is pretty much standard it has hydro front mount etc..

dont have any pics as of yet but will have them up asap.,,

1st on the list is an s15 turbo i have here waiting to go into it, braided turbo lines, and 3'' elbow and down pipe,stage 2 clutch, walbro 255 pump and a good clean and a lick of paint it has a cat back already.

so i finally got the time to collect the car :)..

got it hom put it up on the lift gave it a once over everything looks spot on ver clean shell, must get working on it over the weekend fit 2 front balljoints, remover air con pipes rad etc, remove dumpvalve, and egr syatem fit s15 tubby and boost controoler,

removed the sound det shit when we got it home its stuff work ha.. few pics

did a few bits over the weekend to this,

removed aircon, rad, pipes etc, dumpvalve and tokk out old t25 and put in an s15bb, also got a 3'' elbow and down pipe to go in..

when i put it up on lify gave it a once over found to have a bit of work done to arms and tie rods and rack brought forward also..

new elbow had the bigger thread for oxygen sensor so had to get a reducer and weld sensor to it.

ya didnt i tell ya that in phase 6 :)..

ya didnt take much of a luck on body just wanted to have good running gear etc when i picked it up, was in a rush home, picked it up for 1,850, alot of car for the money, engine and box are mint and body is also spot on.. no its going to b a fully track car if funds allow ill do pd next year in it

Im not one to complain but,.. that spoiler physically hurt me.
Im no fan boy or band wagon bgw hella flush looser, but please, cut the mounts ill they are barely off the boot skin and make a bad ass low wing to hang half off the back like a drag wing.
You have good taste, I believe you will make the right choice.

bit quiet in garage today so went at the car again, fitted 2 new tein rear top mounts, fitted tyres, lowered spoiler,. and fitted bumper.

was at this again over the weekend did a few more bits. all new bits ye see that will be aded to car over next few weeks will be tanx to the lads at FULLSTOP in cork who are giving me sponshership for all of next year. great bunch up their doing all yere drifting needs with prices that wount be beating else were.

1st off all the booth ramps were preety weak and woudnt hold up the booth well so i decided to cut away he inside to make it lighter it worked thetrick ha.

Orange stands out from white and black ;). Don't k.ow make of cage ill only weld it in if I have to bolt in will do fine for now.

Gave it a sand down then hit it with some primer..

Fuck that looks really well man, ties in nicely with the skirts!

The back bumper doesn't really suit the rest of the kit now, probably not on your priority list but a more subtle rear bumper would look sweet with the other bits!

only getting round to this now after the last day out, car ran great up till bout 3oclock then the clutch started to slip so i keep at it till it woudnt drive anymore ha.. other than that all is the same, car will b sent off for a full weld in cage early next week, and must fit cut off switch etc.

I fitted a 6 puk atc clutch to it had to camera in the garage so dont have any pics of it,

got a few bits for the car, front geo master hubs, alloy rad and fans, full weld in cage, rose joint steering arms and fe more bits.

didnt do much since last up date onlt the drift day in tynagh car went well all day trying to get used to it with the dw hubs the car is alot easier to drive with no fiting with the wheel or overcentre issues bext up is a set of steering tyres and to get it set-up correctley.

Got around to cdoing a bit to the engine today. Done a comp test all good also done a leak back test passed that also so said i put in a set of acl raceseries bigend bearing. Oil. Ojl filter new plugs.blets etc. And have it a bit fresher for next yr. If it lasts the season it will be a 2.2 next year.

Got the rear screen out during the week and got around to fitting polycarbonate this evening. Thought this would b be hard but suprisnely is wat failry easy.
Cut out sheet to shape screw it onto booth and then cut around it found this the easiest way to do this as i c some people have a heard time trying to get it right.

All windows must come back off as i must paint the booth door were glass was glued and spray the inside of polycarbonate black.

Been a while since i was on here so gona update thread now.
With 2 rounds of idc gone pass and we had 2 throphies for 3rh place semipro rookie things were looking good and was leadind the rookie class and sitting 8th in semipro heading into ennis.
We done reli well in punchestown qualafied 11th in semipro on 1st qual lap and bust a gearbox on the 2nd so the brother and crew changed the gearbox for me in 20mins on the floor to get me back out for battles which i made it to the top 8 and their ileft was very happy with the weekend considering their was over 75 cars their sat morning.

So ennis it was went up their on sat morning with weather i didnt want to see. Rain and wind and more rain. Pratice it was wet and it dryed up for qualafying so made things very thricky. So 1st qual lap their was an oil spilage on entry which i came in to fast and pushed me wide. 2nd qual lap was my own fault trying to hard for a big score and spun so i was dissapointed to say the least as i wanted to do well and get some more points on the board.

The cacmotorsport 180sx went out for some testing last weekend at wgh superdrift wih the few changes we made car is now alot better to drive and also has more rear grip and steers alot better on front. The day went reli went was a great day out and with a small few issues early morning all was sorted for lunch time and had a great afgernoon.

So after putting in 1 full year of compeative drifting iv decided to go full on and build a car for next year. 1st year went reli well finished up 4th in rookie semipro after missing round 5 of thks year I was happy wat I achived in my 1st year drifting. Learned alot and made some good friends along the way.

so for next year I decided I need more power and with .ore power need more grip and so on and so fourth ha. So was thinking bout 2.2 sr then was going to go for rb25 bjt decided on the toyota 1jz hearing alot of good about these so going for 480ish hp 1jz.

I will be runing nissan 350z gearbox on the back of it..

Gem ran a real 430ish on a standard engine with td06 for a few seasons, with pistons and cams on top of that combo 480 out of reach compared to the extra weight and expense for that power with the JZ.

Like i said best of luck with it man, just seems a waste for the weight and ponies you are going for, not having a dig at ya so no need to get all defensive :)

front sump got and have to weld in a return for the sump.
drilling out hole to fit new adapter.

Update.
Went to get a spigot bearing this morning at local bearing company. Lucky enough they as exact size in stock.
so I got to put clutch on. Exedy syper twin plate clutch. Thks is not fun when you done have shaft to line up the plates lots of fucks were throwing out while doing this :)

Cheers Pete. Ya we started soon as season was over we like to b ready early and less stress :).

Ok so last few days we have been wrking on car few hours here and their. We wired up as much as we needed to get it to start it so now its starting and all is good.
We have eexhaust 90% finished. Wastegate set up is now complete and just have small bit more wiring to do and off it will go to WCP for wiring dash etc and mapping.

So with the garage closed for the xmas holidays now is my time to get some work done.

So we took out oem dash and made up a plate to hold new dash needs to be carbon wraped yet doh.

Also mounted the plate to hold kill switch and fuses and the panel below is for switches

with the fuse board insted of running all seperate powers and to reduce the amount of wires I did this modification.

So mapping will be happening by the end of the week all going to plan.
So we have been busy with work over the last few weeks didnt get much done.

Ran into a few problems with leaks. We had rear oil seal on g.box. brake and clutch fitting. Coolant leaks all happing but happy they happened now rather than on track or while been mapped. All sorted now again so ready for roolers.

1 big update we decided to run wisefab from kit. Mite also get the rear b4 1st day out
