Going painting my grill in matt black, is the paint process the same as painting with usual gloss paint?

sand down rough/smooth, grey primer, matt black paint coat and i was told doesnt need laquer?

ok now;D i do other way for matt i use 2k paint
first sand them primer them water sand them put black paint them u put special matt Lacker u can have chose of 70% 30% and 10% matt

if its water base mate=
no lacker no protecion.. so water is u enemy scratch is u enemy and all flys:D

if its just da grill.....quick sand & blast it on... no laquer

sand primer then wet sand spray then wet sand again 2 remove orange peel effect if using a 2k paint depending on the result u want =]

ask Dermot_R32 on here, he did his kit in matt black recently and it turned out ace! then he sold it :mad::mad: haha
