my new skyline build

hit my 180 at bishopscourt and could not face fixin it so thought it was time for a change. got an m3 3.0 but missed the nissan so time to start again...
bought a 96 gtst road car with a few mods
tien coilovers
3" exhaust
hicas lock out
mines ecu
exedy clutch

i was going to cage it and run std for a while but with the season near over we thought it would be a good winter project.
muldrew got a dose of the horn and ripped all the wireing out there is some shite in a skyline you dont need lol car is more or less rewired with a few control panels to be mounted on the dash when it goes back in

alot more to do but only have it a few days
have alot of nice stuff ordered for it
going to run the link ecu (wire in) gonna try and keep it tidy lol
not sure what turbo yet, any thoughts would help
have a big stat ordered
big rad
front mount and hard pipe kit
top mount manifold
inlet manifold and fuel rail kit
46mm percision wastegate
34 row oil cooler
2l swirlpot and 2 bosh fuel pumps
will get that lashed in and start shopping again
will get some good pics up on monday

muldrew is finished with the wireing. everything working as it should.
plan is to pull the donkey out and send the shell to get cage. cant do much else untill parts come in

took the engine out today to find a an rb 20 gearbox whitch sucked.
split the box and engine and found a crappy clutch that was clean done.
really sucked....

started striping the engine and just when we thought it couldnt get any better it got really good, found a nice set of hks cams

got the head off ruined a good metal head gasket to find a nice set of forged pistons dont know what make yet will get the bottom end striped tomorro and get some more pics up

Bummer bout box and clutch .. but waheyy forged pistons and hks cams, Gud stuff, hope theres some more nice wee surprises in there for ya.. Why an rb20 box? Thought it was same ratio.. Maybe just cheaper alternative huh??

go over then with meguirs (can't think of the name it has scratch on the front of it) or go over it with 2000 grit wet and dry all over and them get a compound on them at high speed. works a treat car looks the job too!

I have to admit its a first r33 what i like the look of it cool drift machine mate

outside, the polish will take the colour away. some people even use tooth paste! but it's not as good. you might see some of the dirt has eatin away at the plastic. if thats the case the wet sanding will help that but like anything the more time you spend at it the better the results!

yeah front bumper got a slight touch lol, run into the tyres at bishopscourt on the first day out done a bit of damage to rear to but got her fixed within a few days.

she is mapped to 500 but will she take a lot more when I get onto it
