Yes it’s the Big Racing Circuit Opened for Drifting !!

It’s the first time in 4 Years there is going to be a Drift Practice at the well known Aghadowey Race Circuit

Its very easy, people who put there names on the list below will be given a place on Saturday the 17th September 2011
The entry fee is £50.00 per Driver, to be paid at the Gate on the day of the Drift

All spectators are welcome, entry fee £10.00 All Children under 12 Free

Starting time is 10am but we would appreciate it if all drivers could be on site and cars off the trailers for 9.30am for a short briefing and then it’s ready for action.
And Please no Scrappers or Stock Cars, Management hold the right to refuse entry

It's great to see another venue opening up for drifting in the North! Did a track day here many moons ago in a Hyundai S coupe with cut springs and had a ball!

Can't make it this time as I've prior commitments with my other RWD. 72hp, diff lock and 36" wheels on the rear!:p

A few reasons really, yes speed cut down is one reason, As i am sure you will agree most drift cars nowadays are a lot more powerful than they were a few years ago. Also makes it a bit more of a challenge. But we are open to suggestions and feedback. :)

Tidy bit of work there Chris, the long straight at the top has 2 chicanes leading into the curved peice off the main track before going into the big sweeping corner. Seen a couple of the guys round that last week, and when they linked it is totally class to watch and I'm sure even better to drift around

All drivers and passengers must wear Crash Helmets, Passengers are also required to sign on where they will be issued with an different coloured wristband from the drivers. Passenger sign on is the same place as drivers sign on. If you have not a wristband you cannot go out on circuit.
