just wondering has anyone ever spent lets say more than a 1000 euros or close to that price on a set of wheels possibly with tyres?..

the most i ever spent was 750 on a set of 5 spoke kahns for my mirage coupe back in the day about 8 years ago lol haven spent that much since

Buying good wheels is an investment: you pay €1k for Rotas, they're worth fuck all a few weeks later.
Spend €1k on decent wheels and they'll never drop in value.

I thought spending €650 on shitty ice racing wheels back bout 6 years ago for my e101 corolla was a big deal, it wouldnt buy two of my wheels at the moment new:)

i had over 3k's worth of wheels at one stage! current ones are worth 1500+ all day long (thing of putting them up for sale soon)

have 2 sets of BBS RS's one in 15x8/9 and another in 16x8.5/9.5, 15s are worth 1500, and i paid 2100 for the 16s. 16s still need to be refurbished and get tyres

dude , i got what i was asking for those wheels! 1100 was a seriously cheap for both pairs! (equips and viennas) and 800 euro for the equips was what they were worth! in the end i made 1200, i knew what they were worth man, im not stupid enough to sell stuff for less than its worth!
