Cheers Tom and Roey, update time , addressed the interior firstly by swapping front seats to R33 series 2 ones and fitted a deep dish steering wheel , makes driving position much better but i'll keep on the lookout for s15/r34 seats for it

Bit of an update, so rear subframe got binned for a s13 one and in went solid bushes, and a couple poly bushes replaced the hicas joints.

Front rack was removed and replaced with r33 rack, p/s pump and crank pulley, also put in lca's out of r33 that were strenghtened and had a bit of bump stop work done

What are the solid subframe bushes like on a road car? Is there much noise or vibration?

Yeah there's a bit of both, and the paddle clutch doesn't help take offs. but i suppose its like living with a welder on the road you get used to it.

But the pay off with no movement or bangs from the subframe while dricing is worth it? I'm pretty used to vibrations and jerkiness taking off anyway.

The difference is mega, comparing to the old set up with hicas it's the first thing to be done, car could do with adj front castor . rear toe and camber arms and a visit to wez but will do fine for the time being
