Its boiling and spitting coolant out the overflow tank when it gets hot so I reckon it could be airlocked....
Couple of questions here on bleeding one......
Where is the bleed screw?
Do you need the blowers/aircon on full?
Has anybody used a funnel in the radcap to raise the coolant above the engine to help?
What are your methods for bleeding one?

Well I have to say that's bollocks. It will never get trapped air out of the head.
There is a bleed nipple on the front top of the inlet manifold. It is a 10mm hex head with a copper washer underneath it. When the engine is cold only remove the bleed bolt and force fluid into the rad. Once the coolant is flowing out of the hole replace the bolt and fit the rad cap.
