View Full Version : Good Luggage 200sx Tramp Slider
Well I was getting a little bored cruising around in the 325 and even though I love the car I was about to sell to buy something properly driftable when after a few discussions I decided to buy something I can enjoy without worrying to much about destroying. After a few nights on donedeal myself and Eddie Power headed down to Conemara to pick this up.
It's 93 CA18DET 200sx which has just been rebuilt with a full service and a new clutch. Despite it's price everything actually works and it's rocking a 2 year NCT (Essential considering I want to drive it to and from events)

So, I'll be booking Mondello tomorrow so few bits to get done.
It's completely standard and my budget is super-low considering college fees are on the way again so the plan is:
Full check over
Coilovers
Rack spacers
Seat
Drift button
Exhaust
FMIC
Filter
Wheels (Might just paint them)
This is a wall rubber so no need for anything I don't really need but anybody who has drifted CA18DET's or any suggestions, they would be appretiated!;)
Wahoo back off the lifestyler buzz!

hahaha brillant
but on a serious note had a ca18 for ages years bk an i drove the shit outa it an it neva skipped a beat
Here's hoping! It's just been rebuilt and the shell is clean enough that an SR20 could follow when it goes.;)
best of luck man. my ca blew up haha one of the pistons was in a million pieces along with the rod and many valves and springs. it left some hole in the block.
yeehaw its all about the road/track wreckers! i had a ca18 and gave it hell quite a bit and it was always on the button for me anyways!

Tidy lookin car dude!! With ca's just keep an eye on oil levels and keep good oil in it and it should be fine! And if it does blow up eventually then they are cheap as fuck to buy or just go sr20!!
I had a ca for 4 years and it never let me down ( but then again I never did a track day)
Also a cheap rad upgrade is to find yourself a r32 GTR rad, they are a direct fit and 4 times thicker than your standard one, I picked one up for 50 euro!
