My 180sx after a full valet and detailing - Proper Pics

Got some mixed opinions on the car, as the photos i originally had up were shite, got the car fully detailed today and took some proper pics with a decent camera. Must say i am fucking delighted with it!!

Agree with nikki lad, paint bonnet nearly everything is savage ;) yellow is my new favourite colour but wheels are letting the arches down and please take off the "Jdm as fuck" sticker that day is gone your not Jdm your scamper ;)

Dont normally post on threads like this but sure ive had a few pints and sure why not...

Bear in mind the points below are just my opinion / taste... Dont take offence - purely constructive critisism..

I Agree with the yellow bonnet comments...
I Agree with the rear light comments...(Change to Kouki)
More Lower (approx -30mm front + -15mm at the back)
+ At least 20mm Spacers+ more stretch
Lose front plate and get smaller one...
+Gandor mirrors (yellow)
+lose rear wing and maybe add 326 wing in yellow..
+change the red seat...
+ add sleepy eye kit (dunno maybe have 1)
+polish exhaust (backbox + tip)
And if nothing else lose the stickers...

Apart from that and all messin aside ...
It does look very clean.. Detail looks V good...
I do like yellow done right..
It has savage potential...
Love the kit / wings etc and the fit / quality of paint
Actual body of the car looks flawless..

But main thing is if your happy fair play...
Looks cleaner than 90% of 180sx about...

Do try consider some of the above... Id love to see it done...

I think it looks lovely to be honest and its different. Everyone has cookie lights and all that jazz.....dont like the rear sticker but the one on the headlight is kool, breaks up the yellow :) Wheels just need some more spacing if possible........but i like it.

Think everyone (including myself) jumping in here because they see the potential of this car being a BOMB (noone cares of the average kitted car on here anymore, noone are suggesting anything to them, so consider yourself the lucky one :D ) ,
I mean it's one of the nicest i've seen but reeeeealy lacking those things said above to make it best of the best (wheels (won't be hard to get- yours are nice too, would sell in no time or even a swap),other things would look 10 times better with new wheels i think, new mirrors would be nice too, but as i said, these things wouldn't matter if you had different wheels imo - as it would be a winner) .
You could win yourself whole internet if you done those things right. But as long as you enjoy what you have - don't mind what others say ;-D

Just enjoy her and we will see you updates on here in a couple of months when you realize we were right :kiss: :cool::cool:

Fupin savage. All id do is space the back and fit pressed metal plates.;) Those back lights suit it down to the ground. A longer tail piece might be nice. The likes of a kakimoto or that.:D

Nice, looks well, only things I'd change would be lower the front a bit more and clean the exhaust. I'm sure it looks even better in real life.

Thanks a million lads, aw believe me i would love to go with mental wheels, but budget restricts that, so these will do for the moment..
The sticker over the exhaust is gone.
I wont be changing the rear lights as i think they suit it down to the ground
Ganador mirrors are on the shopping list, again , money is the issue at the moment.
The mirrors that are on it are carbon wrapped, ye prob cant make that out in the pics. so are the pillars and wind visors for that matter.

But i am happy for the moment, until i get a job this will do, and when i get one we will see more goodies. :)

I like the idea behind the car but the offsets are all wrong for a show car, the front wings are trimmed wafer thin but the rear aren't, front needs to be drop a foot and if you won't change the wheels (please rethink) then you need to add spacers to the mix, reduce the width on the tires for stretch and have her sitting properly. Would bin the rear lights and graphics... Atm it just look like your rebuilt RonanC's old S13 dude. No offence intended, Like I said I like the idea behind the build just not its execution.

I think it looks the business...but with charges suggested she would look pure bad ass!! Its come along way tho , loads of work gone into this car and shur if your happy thats what matters! Its hard to get a Yellow car to look good imo and she does ;)

i like it.. its different not ever day you see a yellow 180sx around lad, every 1 worries bout o get the wheels out pass the arch and have it tippn the ground. then you run in to trouble, with cracking, wings bumpers etc. like iv done myself ha. keep at it u done a good job

Car looks good I think the bonnet needs to be black to break up the yellow a bit good choice.
As for going with 18s and lowering the car not for me the costs out weight the bling factor or jdm tyteness or what ever shite it is called now 18s are too dear to be buying if your drifting and will torture your clutch/gearbox drop it lower and as Ian said you run the risk of wrecking your kit I am sure you will drive this on the road and it's not just a show car.personally I like the car and fair play to you putting in all the work and money in to it I hope you enjoy it

The way the car is sitting at the moment, spacers, offset, lowness etc... is all due to function over looks, if i drop it or space it more i will run into problems and start wrecking the body, and after all the work i dont want that, this is a 100% road going 180, so the way irish roads are it is just fine for the min.

The only thing the same as ronans is the colour and the spoiler. The lights are different, front lights are different, the whole kit is different, wheels are different, roof isnt black.

And as i said the stance at the moment is function over form.

I agree with deco about photoshop of those wheels.. The wheels are (in my opinion) awful and cheap looking. But that doesn't mean i think you should change them.

Get cracking with an assortment of grades of wet and dry, bit of water and some wash up liquid. Polish those lips to the last, or have them mirror polished.

Colour the centers, black preferably because its hides the shape/contour of the spokes more (thats where my problem with them is) and black goes against the yellow nicely.

I do agree with the spacer issue, even without a drop, they need to come out more.

You've the sticker gone so no comment.

As for the rest? I really like it mate. I know you put alot of effort/time/money in, just needs the last push (imo).

But you know i'd bum you no matter what the car looks like, so its not the end of the world. :kiss:

I saw this in the flesh today ( didn't realise it was you that gave me the oil filter scamper :embarrassed:) and like everything else it looks way different than in pics. I wasn't too gone on it before but after seeing it I think it looks top notch, the finish is a credit to the work put in. Fair play to you man!

This looks well imo. the stickers on the headlight are the only thing id take away from the car. but, MOAR LOWS are needed. smoke the rear headlights too and itd be mint, its YOUR car so whatever floats YOUR boat.
